MicRoMaN 01-19-2003 04:22 PM

Yea, i think they sell accessories for bits but i dont think they sell the actual starter kits, and if im not mistaken arent all the bodies for bits and MS interchangeable (sp?)?

Hatchet_Dan 01-19-2003 04:34 PM

Hey, guys, lets get this straight, Call it the R-SPEC not SPEC-R, Okay? DKS has a motor that is called the 3.8 SPEC-R and we dont want people buying that from them instead of the real R-SPEC from TinyRC.com. Just keep that in mind, please... Thank you.

Correct; Hobbico won't let us sell Bit Char-Gs since we sell MicroSizers.

JTM 01-19-2003 08:44 PM

prolly kuz they dont want to cause any confusion between consumers, between bitchar-g and microsizer.

Hatchet_Dan 01-19-2003 08:58 PM

~Bit+Racer+3~ 01-19-2003 11:14 PM

I

Its somthin to do with the FCC not compling with some of the freqences of the bits. Plus Hobbico probably gets more $$$ this way

shocon2k 01-19-2003 11:47 PM

I was going to also comment on that its the R-Spec.

Also, why does everyone think the R spec is BIGGER than other motors? Of course it'll fit, its a f*cking motor made for these cars.

takumi_drifto 01-19-2003 11:50 PM

speak the truth! ^^

FullyBaked 01-20-2003 10:17 AM

Well put, shokon, but i never heard anyone say that they thought it was bigger, oh well. Better safe than sorry...

If your looking for a 350Z check out ebay. Search under Tomy bit and tons of 350Z's will show up. I am getting one from a seller in Japan for $31.50 total. $19.50 for the car and $12 for shipping. I don't know how much Toy East charges for shipping but check it out I can't remember the sellers name, but the car is the only one for $19.95. Later.:D

DKS 01-23-2003 09:18 PM

lets get this straight please

Guys, the DKS Spec-R is NOT a 3.8 as someone mentioned earlier in the thread, it is a 2.4. We've had the name for a few months now. Tiny RC is R-Spec, DKS Spec R, different name different motor. Looks like we started something with the naming motors and having graphics for em too :) seems everyone is doing the same now. Gone are the days of 2. this and 3. that, now, they have cool names that make them alll unique
