Trading cards for bits...
Zip Zaps come with trading cards, I wouldn't care except that I have a little Matchbox stand that I set my Zip Zap on, and it holds the card behind the car.
I set my Bit on a stand like that too, so I wanted a trading card. I made one to print out. I thought I would share it with you guys in case you wanted to print your own. Here it is: http://www.erinsbaby.com/davesstuff/GTRtcfr.jpg http://www.erinsbaby.com/davesstuff/GTRtcbk.jpg Click on the pictures to open the print quality jpegs. (They're kinda large) If you like it, I might make more. Dave |
gotta love that r32.. nice job on the trading cards..
|
Awsome! Please make cards for the other two bodies in the Skyline set.
|
Dorifto!, consider it done. Just give me a little time, and I need a good high res pic of the '72 2000GT-2. I've only one crappy one.
Dave |
Here's the one for the 2000 GT-R
I'm missing some specs, if anyone knows them let me know, here it is:
http://www.erinsbaby.com/davesstuff/200tcfr.jpg http://www.erinsbaby.com/davesstuff/2000tcbk.jpg Click on the pictures to open the print quality jpegs. To make these into trading cards I'm printing them on to photo paper. Cutting them out. Glue the front to the back with a glue stick. Re-trim the edge, so the front and back match, and I've got a really nice card. I'll get to work on the R-34. Dave |
how bout the silvias? i mean there not bit char-g's but still.
|
Keep up the great work. Maybe we can have cards for the all of the Bit bodies. Even though there is no Silvia Bit, I would love to see the card any way. My real car is a '96 240SX SE, so it would be sweet to have a S14 Silvia Zenki card. Cant wait to see the R34 card.
|
Here's the R34...
Had some problem finding a red one with the big black wing, and hood louvres. Found a big black wing though. So anyways, after going through hundreds of Blue R34s, I settled for the first red one I found.

I don't know if these specs are the same or not, but here's a page for a 1969 Skyline 2000 GTR's specs
http://www.supercars.net/cars/1969@$Nissan@$Skyline%202000%20GTRg.html |
Thanks T-Squared. I assume those are accurate, since it is the same engine. I made the changes on my server, so they should be reflected above. If not hit your "refresh" button.
Dorifto!, you mean like this?: That's different than the bits I had seen, but I'll go ahead and make it, I'll just take the Bit logo off. Got the specs on it? Dave |
Thats the one. Now if we could just get a Bit body.

Why don't you ask mtl to make you some pics? Check out the 350 z pics he made.
|
He has a thread somewhere I will look for it.
|
I can't find the thread sorry guys but try asking MTL for some pics. I would rather have those ones he made than regular looking cars.

And this one too!
|
Those are really good. MTL should make his own trading cards and sell them!
Dave |
here's the thread for MTL's and other people's photoshop bit things...

Very nice!! I have this custom Pontiac GTO body for my Micro-Sizer, and I would like a card for it.
|
Great job. I now have the three skyline cards displayed with my cars and the Silvia one is in my 240 LOL.
|
Hehe, very nice template you got goin for the cards! Could you possible make me a card for my baby? Sure, it's not my car, but it's my model!
http://www.shoforum.com/FeaturedSHO/...nt%20angle.jpg And here are the specs: 1993 Taurus SHO Engine : 3.0 Yamaha DOHC V6 Transmission : 5-speed manual Horsepower : (BHP@RPM) 220@5000 Torque : (kgm@RPM) 50@2500 Displacement : ? Compression Ratio : ? |
Damn, that is one ugly SHO. The headlight covers and hood bra really make it look bad. The blue tint is forgiveable though.
My dad used to have an SHO, he loved that car. My friend has a newer one, the 8 cylinder, and he supercharged it to over 300 hp. Funny thing is, its still slower than my dad's old one. |
crazydave,
You graphic guys amaze me!   This is such a geat idea! Excellent work! Please keep them coming! :D I'm just getting into graphics... hopefully, oneday, I'll be able to do something myself! :p |
Cool stuff crazydave! :)
|
sweet! looking forward to a wrx trading card!
|
Thanks for the compliments. I think I'm just ok at graphics, but I like to do it.
My wife complained about my bitmaps taking up her server space, so I changed them to jpegs. They look almost exactly the same, but if you have a really high quality printer and prefer the crispness of the bitmaps, email me at davesmoejoe@yahoo.com, and I'll send them to you. (They are aprox. 3mb apiece) Ok so that's a GTO, SHO, and a WRX. Consider it done, just have to wait until I get off of work today. Where were you guys yesterday when I had the day off? ;) :D That GTO body is on my "have to get" list. So I'll need a GTO card for myself anyways.:D Dave |
Yea! Thanks dave...but just for the record, that is not my SHO. It's the only good picture I could find of a White '93 SHO

Click on the pictures to open the print quality jpegs I'd be happy to do the Hachi Roku, right after the SHO, and WRX.:D In the meantime itwould help if you could find specs on it, it takes me twice as long to research the cars, as it does to make the card.;) Dave |
