did the new chassis they sen du have an fcc ID#? if so was it diff than the one that you had originally?
|
ummmm
i dont know i havent gotten it yet itll be here in about 2 days i think and why so i could say that one steeres left too and get another one?but one cool thing when you order form companys and stuff and they accidentally send you free parts or extra cars!! :bdrop: b1spd bg986 b49m zztbo bbskyw bg825
|
what was the old fcc id on the car that busted...
|
That's freaking dishonest, dude. You should have a little more respect than that in my opinion.
|
hows that disshonest? he said his car didnt work right... he is entitled to a replacement. though if he had kept his reciept he could have just retrned it to the store. im wondering if you can ID the batches with the fcc id, tho i think they r not unique to anything. just a # like the made in china sticker. lol
*edit* and if they do send you more than one.. i guess thats there problem.. tho i doubt they will ive never had anyone mess up like that. im really surprised they arent asking you for the old chassis back. *edit2* lol SPARE PARTS ;) now u can cannobolise the beast. |
what
im not going to tell you my fcc id# but i wouldnt say that one steeres left too unless it actually did. but i mean wouldnt you like getting free parts too i mean then you dont have to waste more money on these things that might not be cool to you in a month
|
whenyouget you rnext chassis let me know if the fcc id# is diff, it may be a clue if theres a rev # or batch of cars that r fuct.. i went to kb the other day they said alot of them are comming back b/c they dont track straight.
|
ohhhh
yah ounce i get my new chasis im going to take apart my old micro and take the batt out and stuff and put it on my new chasis and jtm leave your email and ill keep you informed if there the same id# or a diff. one

snow
oh my god snow i was freakin joking im not going to do that unless theres something majerly wrong with it
|
hog, yes you rrrrrrright ;) but i love you all anyways.. sence of humor or not... just think.. if everyone had a sence of humor.. how boring life would be.
|
I have a sense of humor, I just thought you were serious. That kind of crap really pisses me off. So I apologize for taking you too seriously. Maybe I'm just in a bad mood...I dunno.

I know what you mean. I was experiencing similar steering problem with my 27mhz MSer and could not figure out the cause. I emailed customer service and they are sending me a new chassis. I think the FCC ID# on the underside only identifies the car as a 27mhz or 49mhz car. I have another 27mhz car I bought as a Speed Set from Tiny RC and it has the same ID # as my defective chassis. I don't think the #'s are reference #'s for specific batches of cars. Anybody have any thoughts? When I get my new chassis, I will check the FCC ID # out. I bet it will be the same. :btm: b27m b26 bbimpb

yea its true they all have the same #..its on the last 2 numbers that are diffrent...depending on ur frequncy..they sent me 1 me 1..im mad tho./..i thought my chassi wasnt working when it was my controller....so i took apart my old chassi and broke most of it...when i got my new 1 the controller stil wasnt working..then i put in new batterys and it fixed a lil...so0o0o he shipping came in about 5 days or so..im happy with it..i think they accedntly gave me a 2.6 motor 2:D

Luckily, I know that my controller is working fine since my other car runs w/o any problems. I should have told them that the chassis was from an Impreza, cuz I want the gold wheels. They are easier to paint. I like black wheels better than the chrome ones. I heard the chrome ones are a pain to paint.

My car would turn left and only turn right if I let off the gas, so I wrote to Hobbico about it hoping maybe I could send the car in for a repair, but they said they were sending me a new chassis. Okay, thats nice of them. I expected a chassis and I'd put my gears, motor etc into it. I open the envelope and lo and behold, its and ENTIRE CAR minus the body.
I immediately wrote them back telling them how pleased I was with their customer service and I agree with whoever said it earlier, that using thier customer-friendly interface to get free cars is dishonest. I got a car without the intent of doing so, but since my original car did have a legitimate problem, I feel that I got more than fair treatment from Hobbico. Don't abuse the system. |
yeah Hobbico is pretty good with customer service, sent an email stating my car probs. got a reply saying that they were sending me a new chassis, i was thinkin cool, will be 2 new coils and pcb attached to the "chassis" i opened the envelope after it arrived, and it was a new car minus the body. with customer service like that I am a loyal microsizer customer now. I will by no more clones. well maybe one or two for experimntation.
on another note, lets just break this down, prolly cost hobbico in the $2.50 -$ 5.00 usd range to make those cars including controller and packaging. they sell em to the dealer for at least 15 bucks, these cars are pure profit for the toy co's. which is why so many clone makers jumped on the bit char-g bandwagon if you sent them a car for repairs it would be a waste of money to pay someone an hourly wage to fix those cars, they would just toss em in the trash. even parts wouldnt be salvageable if they've already been used, (cant resell used parts as new) so instead they just send you a new chassis. at any rate, ill still pay 19 to 29 for a microsizer depending on my mood at the time =) they are very kewl lil cars. |
