TinyRC.com Bit Char-G Contest
 

Well, the Mini GP Contest isn't even up yet, but it's time for our second competition! This competition will be for the "Coolest Tiny RC". To enter, all you have to do is post two pictures of your tiny RC to this thread. The first will be your official entry, so it should show the car in a cool setting with nice lighting, etc. The second must show the car with a hand-written note next to it saying TinyRC.com. The reason for the second picture is that otherwise it would be possible to steal a pic from a Japanese custom BC-G site and claim it as your own ;). Entries must not be Photoshop enhanced or otherwise altered. Any type of car may enter, but the prizes are Bit Char-G related:

Prizes for this contest will be furnished by Kyle Clemmons, please check out his eBay Auctions where you can purchase your own custom BC-G motor.

Yep, anything 1/18 scale or smaller.

Actually we haven't set a deadline yet as we want to make sure everyone gets a chance, just post them as soon as you can. Probably mid-September would be the latest the deadline might go.

I think since the prizes are bit char g related i think it shouls only be a bit char g cotest and not other scales. plus it would be an even contest!! unless you divide it into catagories and give prizes fr each catagorie beacause id like to participate but i only have a bit char g thats worht showing (hence my mini-z is in parts and i dont have a body) and someone with a mni-z and 10,0000 leds would probalby win against my Scooby doo bit char g (If thats what im going to enter:rolleyes: )

I really like this site! it gives many great ideas and people are friendly!:) I am now getting the sence of why i first started in this hobby many many years ago. No egos to deal with no stupid posters posting junk, but only plain goodness of people`s willing to help each other. Thank you TinyRC :)

I'm with you. HERE people don't flame each other or point out each others faults. This is just a bunch of guys (maybe some girls) who share a common interest and help each other out. I don't post much, but I've got to give you credit for your honesty.

Well thats how I feel, after the being on the RCCA boards for a year I had it! It was nolong a helpful place. But instead it turned into a flamer meeting spot. It really sad, it use to be a great place to share info and met people. But some of the crackpot posters just have fun junking up tha boards and insulting others. I lost the sence why I was even there. After a while finally the head looney SteveP kick me off big ego and little real knowning who really put money in their pockets WE DO! So much for helping our friends a? Thats the problems with r/c boards these days, too many know alls and not much true real understanding about the hobby.
But here, well people are much more friendly and helpful. I so happy I found this place and I wish it can stay this way :D

Alex, the competition is open to all tiny RCs, but I expect that most entries will be BC-Gs, since the prizes are BC-G-related. Don't worry, Mini-Zs, Mini-Xs, etc. have no advantage over BC-Gs. Each entry will be based on individual merit, i.e. a stock Mini-Z is more detailed than a custom BC-G, but of course the BC-G is going to be recognized for the customization.

Dude tony, that is so cool, I think this contests gonna be really competitive, cuz every pic ive seen on this board is good in some way.

yo, if you dont mind me askin, whered u get that exhaust? Same place u got the last one? Cuz if so, im gonna have to buy one of those kits really soon, or buy something with one. Probably take apart something old.

Everyone, Maybe sometime like friday, ill have my cars up, and have a poll of which one should be entered. Im not too sure which one i should enter untill i finish painting em. But i think im gonna go with my special "s" project. Its got a TON of mods, in and out, and its body design is something i havent seen yet, so lets hope no one tries or tried it.

IM IN FRIGGIN AWE. Thats some cool stuff right there, and i wanna be the first to give u major props. One cuz i love older imports(along with oldelr muscle cars), but then you just made it look wow> i want to know how you Did all that stuff to it, and if you would be willing to sell me that, or show me how to make it.
