MicroSizers Confirmed Sold Out Until January
 

Our MicroSizers rep confirmed that they are completely sold out of MicroSizers and will not get any more until late January of next year! In addition, they are almost out of parts. :rolleyes:

However, they did mention that there will be new stuff coming out in late January! :D

OK, Let's get the rumor mill going....
 

What kind of new products will they release?

Special Edition kits?
Wild"sizers"
New bodies?
New motors?

new products? awesome. maybe they made more fcc approved frequencies. a race of two microsizers just isnt fun enough.

I guess that means that when Tiny RC runs out of stock, we will just have to wait? If any of you can't wait till Jan, Target had more Microsizers in @ $30 each...at least in Kentucky.

can't be more FCC frequencies...the US only allows the 2 for on ground R/C 27MHZ and 49MHZ

I've heard that there WILL be more frequencies!
They will still be the legal 27 & 49 MHz but will be called 27A, 27B, 49A & 49B.

So, you can run 4 MicroSizers at the same time, if they are the new frequencies. :D :D :D

From what I heard you can run the current 27 with both the new 49A & 49B, but not the new 27A or B (too much signal overlap). I assume it's the same for the current 49 and the new 27A & B and 49A & B. That still allows 3 cars at the same time! :p

I work at a Target in NJ, and we have a bunch of them instock. If anyone is really desperate for them, PM me and I'll pick some up for you.

man my raincheck at Target only last until the 4th of jan

i wish i got a raincheck when i had the chance. i just went to target today and saw that they had like 10 microsizers in stock, when i checked for them last week, there were none.

Anyway, I bet they add the Supra, Beetle, and Mini Cooper bodies to the Microsizers line. Tomy already has the production for them ready to go. As for new parts, I dunno...maybe a factory 3.8 motor?

I herd in another forum that next year, what ever tomy comes out wit in japan, will come out in the us as microsizers at the same time, so now to get all the newest stuff, we dont have to wait forever for suppliers to get them in and order from web sites, we can just run to target, toys 'r' us, or a hobby shop. And im pretty sure that they are coming out with factory 3.0 motors, the mini cooper and the new beetle as bits and microsizers(herd that the bit beetle just comes wit the body and a completed chassis, no controller yay!), also herd that they are re-doing their line up(new colors? new designs?) and they MIGHT lower the price to compete with competitors! O well, jus tellin u guys what i've herd!

O, and i forgot, you WILL be able to run 4 cars at a time next year, ive herd alot bout that

They canceled the release date of the Mini Cooper...it is now just TBD...the original Mini kit number is now replaced by the beetle

it has been mentioned in other sites that BMW, who owns the Mini, is asking too much money for the licence and it will make the Mini far too expensive than any other BIT. If this is true, it rules out the possibility of getting bodies of any BMW owned cars.

I guess tehy figured out that no one would want ti just like the real mini cooper lol....

No...everyone loves BMW...ok not everyone.

But this does make alot of sense, thats why there are not a lot of BMW plastic models as well.

The Mini S is a sweet car...oh well...I'd settle for a few other bit bodies not yet out.
