the race tin 1:32 comes in a can....the 1:16 comes in a box because that would be a BIG can..hahahaha

jerm781 11-18-2002 09:34 AM

hunter 11-22-2002 06:12 PM

yes, in my opinion they are the best. ive had bit char-g,mini-z,QD and many others there the best

the v2 arent porportional you can do a mod to make them porportional

Aaronmamo 12-14-2002 08:41 PM

What mod is that? How much does it cost?

Thanks!

hunter 12-15-2002 11:45 AM

you have to mess around with the car i dont know how to do it. ill check with other ppl i know on other forums

hunter 12-16-2002 06:36 AM

no one ive met yet knows how to do the mod
sorry ill keep looking

Aaronmamo 12-16-2002 01:59 PM

Proportional

What is the real meaning of proportional. I think I know what it is. Is it the way a rc car reacts to turning/acceleration compared to the real car?

cryhavok 12-16-2002 03:51 PM

it's how the wheels on the car turn proportionally to how much you turned the joystick(or wheel) on the actual controller

for instance, with bit char-g's and auldey race tins(where they come in the tin and the lid is the controller) the controller only has buttons. the operation is binary, either it's turning or it's not. you can't adjust how much you want the wheels to turn.

imagine driving your car and only being able to either go strait or turn it all the way. it would be very hard to drive and make minute adjustments to keep your path strait.

with the proportional system, it allows you to turn the wheel as much or as little as you want. you could turn it 50%, 75% 23.95%...however much you want.

it gives you much better control as it makes it much easier to make small adjustments

simply put...proportional=good

edit: it's the same thing with the throttle...you can go full throttle or half or whatever you want. it gives you much much more control over the car

Aaronmamo 12-16-2002 03:53 PM

so with the v2 auldeys you cannot control the amount of turn. If you just tap the turner wheel it will do a full turn?

hunter 12-20-2002 05:36 PM

well im gertting one soon

Aaronmamo 12-20-2002 05:41 PM

Aweomse!
I think I am getting a v1 supra and making it into the one on the fast and the furious. It should turn out very cool. I have been talking with the owner of tinracers and he has been giving me recamendations for car/wheel combos. I can't wait until I get it

hunter 12-20-2002 06:11 PM

kewlness
