we need some people to start making some wallpaper so we can put on out desk top so lets get busy....

umm...i might try something...been a month or so since ive made a wallpaper/picture.....
darn painting and modeling takes up my free time

just a wallpaper i use on my laptop (800x600). i resized it to fit here and not take all day to view. working on some more (skylines). will post them when done.

Cool! Okay, help us come up with the rules; I'm thinking that it should be submitted at maybe 320x240? But the winner(s) should be ready to publish it at 1600x1200, 1024x768, and 800x600? And it should say "http://tinyrc.com" somewhere on the image. Any other suggestions?

Very very good point. I would say that only your own original pics should be used.

i think that sounds good. the sizes are great for most peoples home computers as well as laptops..and posting them at 320x240 can be used for people with palm/clie pda's. i agree that
personal images should be used...to avoid any copyright issues. i also agree that we should use the "tinyrc" logo as to avoid other sites from claiming this as their work.

my only question is...where to post the fullsize images to share with the members ?

Another good question; I would say any tiny RC is game. Another thought: you can use an image that isn't yours, if it belongs to another member, and has been posted to a thread or gallery, and they give you permission via email or a post.

bits, zips, or clones ?
 

i think maybe we should include all of the above. they all make up part of this forum and i guess should be included. i mean if i have a "bit".. i dont wanna just see "zip" or "clone" wallpaper. but i do think we should use the good clones only ;)

For now, we're going to ask that you *only* post the 320x240 image to this thread, as otherwise the bandwidth drain will be huge as every member downloads every size of every entry! We'll post the winners to the Gallery, and ask other entrants to post theirs to another server and provide a link.

By the way, the TinyRC.com on it doesn't have to be our logo, it can just be a text blurb if that matches better with your design. If you want to create the same look as our logo, it is Arial Black.

this my very quick compliation using a min z though. i need to scoure the forum for some nice bit pics. anyone with nice racing bit pics similar to the style in my wallpaper idea?

you can use a picture of a Castrol Supra. i think there are a few pics of that bit around the forms somewhere.

FYI we're also having this contest at Mini-ZRacer.com (for Mini-Zs), so don't scrap this one when you find the Bit pic! ;) :D

i would like to get an album, can you do this for me on minizracer as well? i emailed regarding this with no reply (minizracer). it makes it a lot easier to post images to an album and reference/use them in posts.

Not got many good pics so far (till I borrow a good digital camera or borrow some pics, hint;) ) so just did a quick wallpaper with what I've got.:)
