Post All Clones Here
we should start a thread of all the clones out there?
1.)they have to be as big a a bit,zip zap, epoch 2.)must be able to move six ways and R/c 3.) must have link, pic,or website 4.) try not to list the same exact car if possible 5.) put all clones here on one thread im starting this just to see whats offered out there. we never no now with zz out maybe compines will get on the micro band wagon and if you buy one give a review so we know if its good or bad |
|
Was thing along the same lines. Good luck on tracking! These thing are mutiplying faster than a virius!
Some other info maybe to add to the breakdown. UPC product code # if possible. FCC ID number if has one for either or both 27 & 49 mhz. Seperate/intergrated charger. All avaiable freq 27, 49, 40, 35, whatever in the line. Number of bat's required. { 2AA or 3AA + 3AAA etc } Any or all removable/customize parts. Where usualy found. Walmart, Toys R Us, RS Generic vendor. This may require a databae or a spreadsheet to keep strait. PS: I figure why we are seeing seperate control/chargers now. Simply easer to get past both FCC and any copywrite's problems. |
I think there is a lesser example of a list somewhere...I can't remember where, but I can tell you I've seen Bensu (Bullet), Nikko IRacers, Digi Q, a couple of off brands, etc. When I have time, I'll try to post additional information and pics..
|
im seeing them too all over this forum i just figure tiny if your out there can make this a sticky and all clones can be posted here? just a sugestion

The ones I grouped together are essentially the same car, differently branded. BTW, the yokomo's came out with a smaller version of the PY-1 (petit maru). |
now you wouldnt happen to have pics of all those would you lol QFM? tiny is the a way to change the post title from here come the clones to post clones here
|
A clone from Sega Toys? I would love to see a picture.
More clones: Panther Thunder Racing car (similar to Z cars) Motor Works Atomic toys Z cars |
Dont forget the nakimichiRacer....AkA walmart special
|
I bought a Micromite for $10 at a local grocery store and after a day or so, the steering went bad. I've seen the Bensu Cars at a booth in the mall and I'd swear the quality is better and the bodies have better detail and decals. Maybe similar on the surface, but there are some noticabl differences. I do have a Huale clone that is every bit a Bit (sorry), and it scoots, especially since I changed the tires. I paid $15 bucks for it at a Gun Show of all places. Nothing like buying ammo and micro rc cars in the same place...kinda Walmart without all of the "atmosphere". I don't have a Bit to compare it with, but everything I've seen, even down to the guts in the transmitter looks the same.

New clone not seen before!!!!

Notice this one says char-g on the box but then look at the car name "cyclona". If you look at picture too the PCB cover is a clearish yellow plastic. This looks like another clone that is meant to fool people looking to by char-g's.

Charg N Go Bit Clone
Found this at the local mall yesterday... (Along with my Auto Modelista set I've been look for!!YEAH) Anyway, the clone looks like a 1 to 1 copy of the bit... But for $19.99 it was worth adding to my collection.. http://12.31.176.173/rc/tinrcimg.jpg
Detailed pictures are available here (Hope this posts correctly.. if not my apologies.. this is my first) |
hey if this is a clone list why did QFM list Bit Char-G,Compact Char-G, and Microsizers aren't those the real things
|
Need help. Must be Halloween and the sugar buzz with a lot of energy drinks that must be fogging my mind.
There is a kios that has knock off cars at the local mall. They sell three differnet clones. One is a MicroQ, one is a Bulett clone and the other is like a Tomy box not LXX but a name. What other boxed Bits clones are there? Also if the list grows how about a simple rating system. Steering, motor. etc. |
Sheech! Need a brain transplant or something.
It was a "Huale". Must be the MicroQ fire truck I got today. :) Sorry to bother you all! :( |
A new Walmart clone?
1 Attachment(s)
This new one was picked up halloween morning. Ok I'm working on the pictures (darn comcast screwing with my site!).
- Motor Works mini RC. - Unknown body type/brand. - Screw to hold front of body on, tab as usual for the back or body. - Wired motor. - Thicker tires with smaller wheels. - LED built in. - Rear axle is held in by a seperate plastic piece which is screwed in. - 110 Mah Battery STOCK. - 3 AA batteries for controller - 3 AAA batteries for chargins station, with a button to begin charging - 2 wire steering, with the magents where the bit coils are and the coil where the bit magnet is!!! - no form of suspension or sway bar set up. Pros: Fast as my 2.6 Bit maybe as fast as the 3.0 non-boost. Good handling stock. Metal antennae. Cheap, $13.88. Cons: LOUD, LED is very dim. No on/off on controller. Bad indoor range (49Mhz and about 8 feet without mods). UGLY Body (but this was the last one so i got it). Screw to hold front of body on. Lots of batteries needed (3 each of AAA and AA). Controller shape is awkward. attached is the photo of the unit...everything else will have to wait for slow Comcast to do something. |
Good luck with it. They have a tendency to go bad quickly.
|
Yeah, read my P.O.S walmart car thread, you will know, my friends lasted 3 days, then I jacked the battery, LED, and 2 stickers off it, and he's taking it back soon and buying a microsizer or bit char-g
|
Mind lasted about 24 hours. The problem was the charger basicaly went mad! It would turn it self on and off. Ate two sets of AAA. The car and the transmitter work well. And was very speedy.
Just pick up a MicroQ fire truck with moving ladder. They hold up well. |
Ghost of Akina,
The QFM post was really just a list of all micro RCs. The thread was renamed shortly after to "master clone list". This is why they were included in the list. yes they are the real thing. Hope this clears things up. QFM |
The canadian Rat Shacks carry bit char g clones too, probably because they don't have zipzaps just yet.
http://www.radioshack.ca/estore/Prod...log=RadioShack |
$19.99 CDN? thats really frigging cheap. Like about 12.50 USD right?
|
i really don't want to consider one of the rat shack clones though, they are too ugly (wheels) and the body looks ratty/cheesy, kind of like a hippie mobile in rx7 skin. Plus the controller is round like the canned heat (it's in the flyers). I'd rather take the Lxx clones which are basically bits, just oem ones.

I just bought my first mini R/C car and it was a Atomic Toys Z-Car. http://www.atomictoys.com/zcars.html They come in 4 colors and 27 and 49mhz. I have nothing to compare it too as this is my first mini car but I have to say it works great! It goes straight very well and speed is okay. It's completely stock with it's 2.2 motor. I ran 0-10' in 4.32, 4.25, & 4.26 seconds...so it's pretty consistent too. It runs on carpet in my office, but the time trials were in my basement on a cement floor. The controller works well, the body styles are all BLAH, there's a built in red LED in the car. The controller makes car noises which thankfully has an off button and also has red LED's that flash in a sequence which is suppose to make the car showy when just sitting in it's pod. This battery draining option is also thankfully able to be turned off. It has a telescopic antennae and range is decent...I get 10-15' in my basement so far...in my office I get more like 20-30'. They only run $19.99 which is why I bought it.
|
Just for comparison my booster bit with a 3.0 motor runs 2.14 average in fifiteen feet!!!
