This new line of Xmods, are called Xmods Evolution.
They got the names mixed a bit. Bad move by Radioshack. And why do people say 'eevoh'? It's 'ehvoh' dammit lol. And saying Lancer Evolution wouldn't hurt either. |

So, there is a Lancer coming out and a body kit for it, and there is a series of 4 new Xmods called Xmod Evolution. So what makes these Xmod Evolutions so special?

the chassis looks a little to overboard. i hate it . people spent alot of money on the original ones. its gonna piss off alot of people. :( if thats wat theyre gonna bring out i think i might quit xmods..... downgrade..

Why would they go and "upgrade" the chassis? Does it do anything different? I'm still going to buy the Hummer though.

The suspension idea seems nice.
Though the AWD seems to have too much power-loss. And it still looks like a fuxing race-tin. :( |

so it looks like they just rearranged alot of stuff and redesigned the susp. a bit. my question is HOW different the parts are. the motors i bet are backwards compatable, still the same 130 size. how about the axels? those AWD axels look alot tougher than the old style. you may not be able to tell yet, but if anyone knows, give a shout.

It would be nice to have pinions that can be changed without a special puller tool. I think that is a most welcome feature. Those larger bearings would make a bigger difference over the bushings.

Hey, I just got this coupon in my XMODS newsletter. It’s a pretty good deal. You can get a starter kit and a matching body kit for $35, they’re usually about $50.
You print it out and take it in the store. You’ll have to get on it tho cuz the offer ends Sept. 14. |

I figured what the heck, this link is to a thread on Mini ZRacer about these new Xmods. I for one like the new chassis. I figured the least I can do from all the Mini Z links I put up.I also figure that the AWD Mini Z would cost quite a lot compared to the new Xmods Evo sets. |

At first I thought that is low for a truck, then I see that it shows the bottom side. Look's cool, I am going to have to get a F150 now. I wonder how much suspension travel it would have.
