you probably fried your forward FET, take it back and get a new one.

Is it just me, or are there a lot of new XMods frying FETS?

Yeah and these kids want 'faster' motors.
If you can fry FETs with an S2, lets see what happens if they release an S3.

Are you sure you can fry the Fets with a Stage 2 that is insane, why would RS sell something that could fry what it is made to improve. If this is the case i would definatly send an e-mail to RS

It doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

the 1st car i fried...the smoke came out of the electronics area....with the s2 motor the smoke came out of the batterey area

Hmm, you fried 2 cars will stock/rs hopups, is that ALL you were running? Either they got wet or something, or you drive REALLY hard. :D

well i fried an fet , but luckily enough it was the backwards one so i can still drive ok , but if i get stuck im knackered , but then agen i was running a st2 drift with a 6v battery pack on the roof :rolleyes:
i dont like it , it tips , it fries , it rolls , but for drag it would rock .

i would if i lived in the us , im in the uk so , shipping would cost around 20bucks :( , so i think il just stay going forward :P

yeah , i boaught it off ebay for £68 shipped to uk , with a stage 2 drift motor , upgrade wheels , soft slicks upgrade tyres , i baught a whole tyre upgrade kit today , they are finally in the uk , :D
i havent run it yet tho , as i am awaiting battery boxes , as i melted the other two trying to solder them back on , so no driving til at least monday , unless i cut my 4xaaa holder down , but i am unsure of how to do this , but if anyone knows please let me know , im going to post a new thread asking for help on this now :D
