toyeast groupbuy

well toyeast just updated their site and such so me and civicsport93 are gonna organize another groupbuy. it will circulate around ththe new skyline set:
http://www.toyeast.com/v2/proddetail...dtid=A04000815
hehe anyways if u want in on the groupbuy u can email me at danktrees1212@yahoo.com and i'll take it down and such. just email me.

remember it's a toyeast groupbuy aimed at saving shipping costs. and since it's all of toyeast the stuff u wanna include ur order doesnt have to be only bit char-g's u can order pretty much everything.

let's get this started cuz i want to complete my special sets. already got the lambo and ferrari now i just need the skyline.

Canadian Bit 03-17-2004 02:13 PM

Like that Pantera, maybe I'll add that to your's.

BTW; wasn't there just a blackout there? there was in the midtown area.

Heat 03-17-2004 02:17 PM

blackout where? toronto? hong kong?

anyways if u wanna add in on it. post here or email me.

richh 03-17-2004 02:18 PM

hey i may be interested... i missed out on the last one. with the group buy, how much does the s/h come out to anyway (how much can i save vs a normal order)?

Heat 03-17-2004 02:21 PM

basically free shipping. do u live in us or canada? cuz she gets everything shipped to her and then she ships it out to u guys. she has discounts with them cuz she orders a lot. so the shipping is gone. if u live in the us, shipping from her to you will be cheap and such. so it depends where u live. but u should save shipping pretty much.

Canadian Bit 03-17-2004 02:30 PM

T.O. Blackout. Lasted for a few hours. It was so bad I HAD to read a novel, eh. [JK]

Heat 03-17-2004 02:48 PM

hmm maybe it's cuz i live in scarborough..but i didnt have a blackout.

btw can everyone who wants in confirm please. cuz the two of u said u want in but u're not sure. u dont hafta confirm right now but make sure u do it cuz i wanna save some money on shipping lol.

urbandork 03-18-2004 02:41 AM

when i go there the regular stuff on the page loads (side bars and top bar) but i also see this message...

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

... in the place of the page where the new products are and the only thing other then the top bar when i go to the micro rc page

on toyeast.net they have the Lxx 35Mhz booster set with the red supra and clear skyline body that i want to get, but on toyeast.com they didnt. Im hoping that that this set was also included on the newly added items but i doubt it :( .

Canadian Bit 03-18-2004 08:45 AM

heat, wait a week for the De Tomaso Pantera Pullback to come, then, I'll order.

EDIT: Wohoo! 1000!

Heat 03-18-2004 10:31 AM

yea we're gonna wait like a week or two first. remember guys, the more stuff u order or the more people u help get into this, the cheaper everything is for everyone.

Draconious 03-18-2004 12:08 PM

only thing I would want from toyeast is digi q tanks... been trying to order them from there my self, but the shipping from there, is too much... I am set up with a dealer acount there as well ;).

Builder 03-18-2004 03:08 PM

Heat,
I received the email to confirm my part in the group order. If anyone lives in the U.S. the shipping will only be around $10.
Keep the orders coming!

Heat 03-18-2004 03:34 PM

it depends what u order. 10 should be for a large set. cuz i've been ordering stuff with her for like a year and once she sent me a 4 pound shipment (xmods and every available part lol) shipping was only like 15 bucks. i asked for insurance so it ended up like 40 but 15 for a large shipment with no insurance. so keep that in mind when u're wondering how much shipping to you guys would be since it really depends how large or small ur order is.

Heat 03-18-2004 03:37 PM

ok here's some info she's told me, i've bolded the important parts..:

Shipping wont be too much, it should be less than $10 for shipping from HK and from me in the US. I wont be able to calculate accurate shipping until I get everyones order. The more people order then the shipping will be cheaper etc.. for everyone. You can always add or subtract from your order before the groupbuy ends so we need to see how many people are interested in the groupbuy. If you know anyone else who wants to join the groupbuy tell them to email or post on tinyrc.

Heat 03-18-2004 08:20 PM

o yea that post was basically what civicsport wrote for him. so the $10 is for his order and not a flat rate. just wanted to clear that up.

jamesm 03-18-2004 11:53 PM

How do I add my order to the group buy?

Builder 03-19-2004 06:43 AM

Greetings jamesm,
If you would be interested in purchasing items from Toy East through the group buy contact Heat. He will send the information on.

yea email me danktrees1212@yahoo.com. we've currently got like 5-7 ppl interested and it's only the 3rd day. we plan on taking orders for a week or two. so this should be good.

Canadian Bit 03-19-2004 09:02 PM

Im on vacation tomorrow so wait a week and a 1/2 for comfirmation

Heat 03-23-2004 03:35 PM

update: deadline is about 2 weeks away so get ur orders in before then. i'll make a post the day before the deadline to confirm. also, u will hafta send the money to civicsport before we can place ur order. just so u know u wont get ripped, we've had another groupbuy around christmas time where everyone paid in advance and got all their stuff.

theoneinventor 03-27-2004 12:33 PM

how does that work? you get all the money and pay for all the orders and then ship it to each person individually???

Heat 03-28-2004 10:29 AM

yep

jamesm 04-06-2004 03:08 AM

How are the orders stacking up? What's the current deadline?

Heat 04-06-2004 12:06 PM

well canadian bit told me to wait for him so i'm waiting. civicsport93 is also busy trying to get her site up. but we're still waiting for more orders.

jamesm 04-06-2004 01:20 PM

According to ToyEast, there's only one left of some of the stuff I wanted. I'll have to order on my own, unless we can order soon.

Heat 04-06-2004 03:07 PM

ok i'll email her and get back to you asap. i suppose if she doesnt answer within a day or two you should go ahead with ur order. cuz she's been real busy the past 2 weeks sorry about that tho. i shall get back to you.

EDIT: email me the items that are almost sold out. give me the links as well. she said she can hold those for u until the order is done. so email the items that are running out and i'll get them held for you.

We are thinking of ending the groupbuy soon i.e. next week so everyone who wants in tell me now please cuz we need an estimate on how much money she needs on paypal, how much shipping will end up costing etc. email me or post here thanks.

Comrade_Boris 04-06-2004 10:11 PM

i guess ill jump in again....

i think ill go for this, this time:
http://toyeast.ideoconcepts.com/prod...ge/apb033a.jpg
http://www.toyeast.com/v2/proddetail2.asp?pdtid=APB033
and this:
http://toyeast.ideoconcepts.com/prod.../acms0025a.jpg
http://www.toyeast.com/v2/proddetail...pdtid=ACMS0025

that would be about $8-10, right?

btw, the ferrari set from the last group buy is terrific! thanks for organizing the buy!

thanks again!

Heat 04-07-2004 08:20 AM

could u just email me the 2 links, it'd be a lot easier cuz i dont know ur email right now which means civicsport93 wont be able to email u on ur order status. and yea we decided to start another groupbuy because the black skyline set came out and we both need it to complete our special collection. we have the lambo and ferrari sets but not the skyline yet.

also for everyone in the groupbuy, civicsport is in the process of placing a hold on everything that u guys have ordered that way, even if the deadline isnt up for a week, u will be sure to have everything without running the risk of it being sold out. once she gets a reply from toyeast she'll tell me and i'll make a post here to update u guys on the situation.

Comrade_Boris 04-07-2004 03:45 PM

ill try to email, but my inbox is glogged and wont receve any more emails.......btw, i would be paying with cash again if thats ok....

Heat 04-07-2004 07:03 PM

ok yea she's got ur orders covered pretty much. as for james, we're trying to hold 3 items for u but toyeast hasnt emailed her back yet. so give us a day or two.

stampede_dude 04-17-2004 10:20 AM

go ahead then no one's stopping you. also realize that the idea of the groupbuy is to buy stuff from toyeast that u cant normally get. it'd be very stupid of u or anyone else to buy something they can get if they walk down to their local store...

EDIT: also, i'm unsure of what u think shipping costs are. shipping costs are the costs associated with delivering ur order from half way across the world. and as those costs are paid to the POSTAL OFFICE i fail to see how we make money from u having to pay shipping costs. if u know how a post office works and why they charge money for deliveries, u will realize that it's them that makes the money from ur $10 shipping fee and not us.

Heat 04-17-2004 04:23 PM

update everyone:

she pretty much has everything reserved but the main thing is, toyeast just released the new I-Waver clone Mini-z's which to my understanding is supposed to be proportional and everything. there's been much interest in this (mainly between my friends and her friends) and they have requested to place their orders in as well. so we're just waiting for everything to fall into place first. but u guys should get all of ur stuff so there's nothing to worry about. if u have any questions or concerns u can always contact me of course.

Heat 04-17-2004 05:44 PM

here is the msg i sent each of u guys regarding the status of the order. u should get it in ur email but just in case here it is again:

sorry for the delay with the toyeast groupbuy, as u know with paypal, the money has to clear from ur cc before it is transferred into ur paypal account. civicsport has been waiting for it to clear and that is what's been delaying the order. but once that clears, which should be very soon, we will email u right away and proceed with the order. i shall be in contact with u soon.

dynamic_e 04-19-2004 05:50 PM

groupbuy

Is it too late to join in? I wanna order some tanks.

Heat 04-19-2004 06:08 PM

email me at danktrees1212@yahoo.com thanks. o btw if u could provide the link for the items u r ordering it would help a lot and help us track it down faster.

Heat 04-20-2004 06:17 AM

huge update:

we will be ending the groupbuy on april 25th at midnight. so by the beginning of next week the groupbuy will end and she will be contacting everyone with their order information. if u wanna change ur order contact us before then. for those that dont intend to change it, email me to confirm and she'll probably contact u guys earlier.

EGCivic93 05-02-2004 02:09 AM
