Nice! So much for putting on race paint on my Skyline; I shaved of the entire front lip and lowered the wing- looks considerably less aggressive now.

Man, took two days huh; with me, paint projects take like a week.

dookie, the day i bought that car i started working on it. Well, i was up untill 6 the next morning and i had the red and silver done. the next day consisted of decals and clear coat, which took almost all day. I was pretty exhausted by the time that car was done, but i was proud. Look forward to more of this type in the future. My creativity is just warming up. :D

This car has been through a lot. Its FAST though. Stage 2 drag motor, AWD, metal ball bearings, custom front suspension, hard rear suspension. No tires though... i installed a second set of brake lights but i dont have any rear shots right now. (one is burned out anyways)

I like the rims, you cant really see it but there are nismo decals on the rims.

I really like the supra madpilot1. What are you using for the decals?, they look great!

I like the Supra body but I don't have it :( Maybe I'll get one since I like RSR's Supra paint scheme. But for now, I'll just consider my unaggresive Skyline with a 1-color paint job, maybe just the TinyRC decal on the side and I might consider getting photo-etched emblems.

vawax, the decals are from tamiya 1/24 scale models i bought from the local hobby shop. These models come with usually 2 or more decal schemes you can choose from so there are decals left over when you are finished. The supra decals are from a skyline R34 and the skyline decals are from an R390GT1. The only problem is that if I want to acquire more decals these models cost around 25 to 35 dollars. i like building them to though so its not so bad. lol

Nice job on that... If somebody wanted to do an easy one, they could do the Pennzoil Skyline from GT3... ;)

true, since the skyline is yellow to begin with...lol hey! my skyline has a pennzoil decal on the hood haha, but its the Unisa Jecs Zexel, inspired by GT3

Well....I did it. My GT Skyline is no more. Something is wrong with the chassis, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.....I think i busted a connection in the on/off switch. So i stripped the paint and started again. It is now black pearl metallic. Im waiting for it to dry so I can paint the red window tint. Grrrr!! Im getting sick of masking...something always goes wrong. Ok its 3:30 in the morning. Ill paint the windows tomorrow..............snore:o

EDIT: Checked official website, JGTC is an acronym for "All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship". My recollection was pretty close.

the GT cars in gran turismo are from the JGTC....the nsx's, supra's, skyline's.....

Most people know what GT is and Gran Turismo, not that JGTC. Although you are correct. I was like what the????? What is he talking about? LOL

On a related note, I reeeeeaaaaalllly want somebody to make this body, preferably for the Mini-Z... I already have the one right behind it. ;) SO much eye candy on that site...

Yes, it is the Wedsport Celica. Anybody know somebody at Kyosho I can beg to get it made? (Because RS up to this point seems to be only concentrating on street cars, while Kyosho has been doing alot of the JGTC cars)

REPLACE THE SKYLINE?!?!?! WHAT?!?! thats a bummer. that is a sweet car though. celica....crap. that will be fun to find. man its 3:30 in the morning again... i just keep getting caught up in my skyline. lol its almost done though.

Toyota GT - One, AFAIK

No. There was supposed to be, but it was (sort of) removed from the game due to licensing issues. I say sort of, because with a game shark or something like it, you can actually get the car somehow. Go to GTPlanet.net and do a search in the forums for "Diablo" if you want to find out more about it.

Toyota GT One does not have a 7 speed, and neither do any of the F1 cars.

Back on topic, Madpilot, what's that Skyline going to be when it is done?

But doesn't the Diablo only have seven speeds because its reverse can go forward? And I don't even know if that always works; mine only had one forward gear (which was reverse), and it was really tall. I dropped the Altezza LM transmission in it. The 1997 [R]Supra Twin Turbo in Gran Turismo has seven once you buy the race box, though.
