dude please tell me you didnt spend over $200 for that. its got rust all over it and over 200,000 miles. not to mention that the front end looks like its had its fair share of fun.

Even though I am 13, i still love to work on project cars. If I were you I'd check to see how the engine has been taken car of, cause after 200k miles and obiosly a guy who didnt care crap of hiss car, u will probably find the cylinders rusted in place.

engine is fine all i need to do is drop a new clutch in soon. i could pop that out in like 4 hours. and my bros friend gave me his old cd player/system what ever you wanna call it. so i am gonna change the oil and put that in 2maro.

drop like a 450 hp engine in it ( if it fits) and drag it. The people there will be like man you have a crx I will smoke you. Then you do like the a low12 second run while they do like high 14 with their heavy ol camaro.

btw, i didnt mean to be mean. it is great project car. it should look nice when finished. its a honda, it will run forever:D :D

My other friend fried his accord
and the prelude well I'm sad to say hasn't ever run again :(

But I love hondas not all of them run for ever just most.

$500 isnt bad for a daily driver if it runs.. since it needs a clutch i probaly wouldnt have paid more then $300...

but oh well, your money your car. I sure as hell wouldnt put money into that car for anything but keeping it moving me fron point a to point b.

well i was doin a bit of a tune up heres what i did: i changed the air filter
gas pump
plugs/wires/cap and rotor
upper and lower radiator hoses
flushed the radiator fluid
changed the oil
and i also steamed cleaned the engine
all the parts cost me about 112 dollars

i figure i saved my self a good 400-500 dollars.
im gonna start the body work 2maro.

dude seriousy i wasnt trying to be mean there i just think you payed too much for it. that thing has cancer like mad. and its not just on the serface. its going to take alot of work to keep it from spreading.

i dont need a new clutch i just adjusted the clutch today and its fine now.

i am done with the tune up and this thing runs alot nicer. i am gonna start sanding my doors and other rust spots and get some primer for my spring paint job. i am also gonna start installing some speakers and a cd player.

well i sanded my driver side door's rust off, it came off easy and didnt go through the whole sheet metal. i am gonna smooth it out with some bondo and primer it 2maro, i also sanded the hood where the bra was because the paint was all cracked where it was. other that that all the rust is gone besides the hole by the wheel. that is for the weekend though. this this is really shapping up, the tune up really helped the porformance, and i adjusted the clutch so i wont have to be buying a new one of those. i am also going to install an air intake this weekend. so i wil post a picture or 2 for those interested in viewing those.

i am goin to buy a wing west front bumper and install that and get it painted. i am gonna get some rota rims like these http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sel...s/circuit8.jpg (the bronze ones)

and i am installing an intake this weekend once it arives in teh mail. so once i get the bumper/paint/intake/rims and tires done i will replace the header and install a cat back exhaust system( once mine goes) then i will redo the suspension wich will lower it a bit too. i have everything planned out i just need to get the necesary things done first. after i get it painted it will look real nice along with that new front bumper and rims.

the suspension and full exhaust system will come in a few years once it needs replaced.

Yes- don't forget a decent B-series engine is ~2300 at an appropriate supplier. If you think that's expensive, ask people how much money they spend on rice-up parts:D

It looks like it would make a cool hanbrake turn machine:) . Just buy the cheapest tires possible, peel out, then swap front to rear.

no im not into that rice boi bs i just want it to have a nice glossy paint right now hehe. once i get that done i will redo the suspension, exhaust and mabe do a five lug and brake kit mod.

those things are down the line a bit though. i would eventually like to the b 18 or b 16 engine drop. that would be sick as hell. so this summer im lookin at gettig the bumper and paint and next spring ill redo the suspension.

heres my truck its a 1965 GMC. It runs good and all it really needs is bodywork and a new bed cuz the old one was wood. it also needs break work.

hey thx man, i believe im gonna start some body work today.

i have it all sanded, i need to prep it with some primer, but ithink it might be to cold here today for bondo-ing. but we shall see. this car is looking real nice now, there was really hardly no rust at all. this is gonna be very easy to patch up.

u think thats expensive for an intake, my brother (actually my mom) spent close to 400 for an Injen intake.. and alot of other people do too, it looks nice, oh and if ur thinking 400 for a short ram, its a CAI (cold air intake for those who dont know) and this christmas he is getting a turbo kit or a Vortech supercharger for his 3g eclipse, that thing is slow but w/e hopefully with the mods he gets this christmas itll be quick.. :)

Are you using a rust inhibator ie rust mort or ospho on the rust spots before you mud them? And $500 bucks is not a bad price for a daily driver and with a little work it will be a nice car.

my father told me to use this clear liquid stuff that drys on contact that stops rust from coming back, then i primered over it, i am waiting on a nice day (above 50 degees) to start bondo-ing.

It can be a nice car, if you can afford it put a nice b series engine and over time add a vortech supercharger.

mabe ill do an engine swap after i redo the suspension. i also want to do the 5 lug and 4-wheel disk brake conversion as well.

good luck on a 50 degree day. im also in akron and i dont think we'll see 50 till february

yeah the other dudes right, make a sleeper. my dad has a blue 1986 volvo sedan: under the hood is a mustang v6 engine, and it has dual exhaust :)

im planing on getting the rear disk brakes, i prolly wont do the five lug conversion though because i am buying the rotas. i am gonna redo the suspension and then get a b 16. this thing wil definetly be redy for the engine by the begining of college.(2.5 yrs)
