To the guy who didn't know what a sprint car was "sprint car=drag".... A sprint car is one of those cars that looks like a big go-kart with a roll-cage and has an enormous wing on top of the roll cage. They usually race in dirt, but sometimes on pavement also....now these cars can REALLY drift....

btw....my fav....NASCAR....fav driver...Dupont #24....

Sprint Cars don't have to have wings. The ones with big wings are called Outlaw Sprints, there are also regular Sprint cars, USAC Midgets etc.

To those of you who said you're into street racing. UMMMM, that's extremely dangerous and illegal and in Cali. if your caught illegal drag racing your car is confiscated, and sold at auction. Now that's not to say I don't take my car out 1 Sunday a month at about 2am and do some high speed runs on some winding roads with some of my buddies. I just try to avoid drag racing on city streets while there are a bunch of unsuspecting drivers clogging up the roads. Besides I have way to much scrilla in my car to to take a chance of sombody pulling out in front of me while I'm doing a 100 down a city street. Just be careful out there guys/gals, I don't wanna die because you're trying to prove you're Honda is faster than that Focus. Let the flmaing begin:D
P.S My favorite kind of racing is just about anything with wheels. I'd rather participate than spectate though, that's why I've been racing bicycles for all these years. They're cheaper than racing cars.

ANYTHING but NASCAR.

I prefer Rally, drifting, touring, and F1- The kinds of racing where technology is really applied. Someone once told me they have regulations against fuel injection, DOHC, etc. in NASCAR. Pathetic:D !

My absolute favorite is touring- Le Mans, Gumball, Baja, etc. I like seeing cars actually go somwhere instead of in circles.

Drag is neat because it's cheap, easy, and readily availible here in Texas (It seems California is where all the racing is, but that's the state where it's illegal to do anything to your car. Ironic, huh?).

I watch WRC and ProRally religiously, I also follow the Speed GT championship a bit and often wonder if Speed Channel will provide coverage of the JGTC (can anyone tell me that?)

I see alot of people on here talkin about street racing. I was heavy into the whole car scene and i headed one of the biggest car crews in my area for a while. I have seen many people lose their lives,cars,and licenses due to street racing. Its just not worth it, if you wanna race keep it to the track. Btw, here's a pic of my car:

streetracing is just not worthe it anymore to me
i used to do it a lot maybe like every friday and saturday but i quit because i know a lot of people who lost their car and licences too.
i keep my car to a track.
but sometimes i still push it on the road which i know is not right:(

NASCAR is just friggen boring. Here is an example.

F1 Racer craches
News guy: So what happened exactly?
Racer: "My intercooler overheated resulting a overheating in the engine. The OBC was mounted too close to the engine and melted, resulting a loss of power steering"

NASCAR Driver crashes
News Guy:" So what caused the crash?"
Drive: "That d@mn wall jumped in front of me."
