Not a C1, I'm really not a fan of that generation. I may build a 1968 (C3) somewhere down the line...

The C5R is the only one that is truly finished so far. The 1967 is just resting on the chassis, the ZR-1 has the front body mount done, but not the rear. I don't plan on putting much effort into mounting the 1967, as it is not a body that would be used for racing. It's much too fragile, with too many parts to break off. The ZR-1 will be mounted securely at some point, but the model itself is not the highest quality and I'm having problems keeping it together while I work on the mounting. It would disintegrate during a race.

New one, and it is the Mini Power body. I picked that body not only because I'm a fan of the car, but also because the high, flat roofline will make it easier to fit some of my electronics mods underneath.

viperkilla 11-18-2003 02:58 PM

Those are the best conversions I have ever seen. That C5R looks fantastic. Cant wait to see the Mini Cooper.

4G63T 11-18-2003 04:47 PM

keep up the good work

I will have quite a few surprises by the end of the week ;)

jrkimmel 11-19-2003 10:33 PM

Here is my Chevy S10 mini truck body. I used a dealer promo model I bought off of eBay. I had to chop the bed and add some custom stuff, but it came out pretty decent.

http://home.comcast.net/~jrkimmel/XMODS/S10stg1.htm

Hows it look?...

I have an S10 Xtreme model I'm going to mod next.

seth98es 11-19-2003 11:02 PM

Wow that body lined up pretty nice. You should get some bigger wheels :D

pacificwarriors 11-20-2003 02:23 PM

Yeah he is right it looks awesome but needs bigger wheels and a different color but in my opinion that thing is awesome

make it a '70 and put a hood scoop and replica "Go-Wing" on it. Or save your time and get a Charger Daytona

this one is pretty sick

neurokinetik 12-12-2003 09:42 AM

Looks like somebody does a little drag racing. ;) I've never seen an SUV setup for drag, though, that's pretty unique.

Here's an updated shot of the MINI Cooper, I did the stripes, roof and wheels last night, just like the optional paint scheme on the real car. If it still had the side mirrors (racing incidents, ) they would also be white. For those who were asking before, this body was purchased at the Mini-ZRacer.com store. There is no picture on the site, but its there, listed between the MR2 and New Beetle bodies.

That body is a Revell 1/25th scale model kit that I picked up at my local hobby shop. It fits the chassis without modification, but it isn't mounted right now, it is just sitting on the chassis.
