Dub City Rc Cars Available At Tower Hobbies
 

These cars are awsome looking. I was wondering if anyone has tried these out yet. They are priced at 49.99. This is a great price just for the way they look. If anyone has had any experience with these let me know.

Some peeps have contacts and connections that get hooked up. So maybe someone has one. The same way peeps had zz se and xmods before the release dates. I know a guy that had an xmod the 1st week in september. So anything is possible.

Cool. I wonder if some have spinner rims. And if not, then my X-mod will soon.:D

Check out http://www.jadatoys.com/RC_SPEC/index.html for the specs. They are 1/10 scale, so I guess they don't qualify as mini or micro. Neat anyway.:)

now they look more like a toy then a hobby :-( what do others think?

they supposedly are 9.6 volt...have detailed interiors and working neons under the car...they also come with 2 sets of wheels and tires...and come with the charger and battery included...

are these consider hobby class? Any word on electronics? motor upgrades..9.6 seems nice

There's no way anything from jada is hobby class.

I could have sworn I saw an 1:10 RSX that looked just like these at RS, weird.

i know what you mean its like a redish color but i dont think it had under lights.

the 1/10 rsx at radioshack is $100 and goes 149mph! but it has no upgrades other than it already being tricked out.

I doubt that it is 149mph. I mean use common sense. Thats faster that a real car! I seriously doubt a 1/10th r/c can go that fast.

fastest scale RC car was like this 1/10 car that went 77 mph but i'm sure it's been surpassed by now but i doubt even teh 100 mph barrier has been breached. that 149mph is a scale speed so at 1/10 scale that woudl be 14.9 mph

1:10 is bigger then the xmods, so nothing for them is gona fit on the xmods.

I was going to order one from towerhobbies mid nov when it said on the site it was avaiblable for order but the next day it said mid dec I dont understand?? did they recieve only a few shipments or they made a mistake..... I was planning on getting the celica or the supra but I was wondering CATMAN if you can make a video of it or tell me how it is because that one was the first one I wanted but could wait till mid dec so I got an XMOD skyline...... keep us posted!!! thankss!!

you cant even modify the motor or nothing. its an all show rc car. im pretty sure becuase i checked the site and it only listed visual modifications, but no internal. if this is true, that would pretty suck. talk about rice. maybe im wrong though.

if its electronic then it can be modified.Look at zip zaps and xmods.Not intended to be modified but they are/were. All i did was order it and pay for it and when they got it in stock they sent.The web site said it was out of stock but i still got it ? so i dont think they have enough to classify in stock.Its really hard to make a video chap, I just got a foot of snow and i dont have enough indoor space to get full speed..All i know its quick but the steering sucks.Maybe cause i didnt use a full battery i dont know.

i dont think these are rcs, i went 2 a wal mart and saw them there. THey are jus nice looking show cars, no remote or electronics.

Hmmm...for $79.99 im not too sure I'll get one. With that money I could get another XMOD and some upgrades.

xmods where not intended to be modified? i thought they sold a whole bunch of inter-changable parts so you can modify. i sure was misdirected with its title "xmods: custom rc's"
