that looks like it will be fun to drive........... keep up the good work!!! |
Yeah, looking good so far. Hopefully, you don't plan on trying to take any Zips or Bits over that mountain...do you? It looks like you are just going to go around it.
Oh man! Sacrificing Ping-Pong for a track? You MUST be lovin the R/C action! ;)
The foundation is lookin mighty promising! Definitely keep the pics coming as you progress, that would be great. |

thanks guys!! i am going to use the stuff you spray one fake trees to make the snow. the test looks good. i will put white spry paint under the snow spray.
i am not sacerficing the pingpong table(my mom would kill me!!), but i am sacerficing a old railroad set. it didnt have any landscape anyway. sorry if the pics are a bit big but here goes... plans it will have a "rally" section and a road section. the track will wind throught the montains and will have two tunnels. |

I'm not usually one to bring a thread back, but how is it looking now? any changes since we've last heard from ya?
unfortunatly...no. my friend is in all honers classes and we both have to study alot(with finals comeing up), so it may not be for awile. mabye winter break i will get him over here so we can finish it. the only thing that i have done more on is gettin he spray snow, and the track surface(spirit foam because i have alot left over)
I understand totally lol
any progress
Looking good, keep us updated.
I will post with pics when i workon it again, if ever. hopefully it will be done by the end of summer. i have gotten into 1/10 scale and 1/18 scale so it will be a long time.
Sorry to bump this thread back up.....but I wanted to see if you'd tested out that Christmas tree spray snow yet? I've used that stuff before in some other hobbies (1/6th scale military action figures) and I've found that the spray snow takes a long time to dry.....and if you load it on heavy it will tend to crack when dried.....also it seems to remain sticky. Stickiness could present a problem for you if the snow gets into the gears, motors, and steering of your micro RC's..... just something to think about ;)
yeah true. idk what i am going to do about that. in fact i don't know what i am going to do about the track. it would be nice to finish it, it would look cool if anything, but i dont have time right know. mabye i will get it done in summer. i have gotton into progressivly bigger rcs. from xmods to 1/10 scale trucks and then back down to micro r34's(1/18th scale) i still need a good track surface because i don't think that the spirit foam is going to cut it. i still need to make more of the track also. i will keep yoou updated if i ever get back to it. when i do i will most certainly post pics and all. thanks for the intrest, and sorry for my lazyness and lack of time. :( ohh well it will get done:)
