What's your location? (Let's race!)

After seeing some of the other threads, I thought I would start a thread where everyone could post their locations and maybe some of can get together to race.

Myself, I am in Richmond, Virginia.....Sandston to be exact. (Near the Airport.)

Not really, some of the hobby stores only specialize in trains sets and airplane models. The best hobby shop I know is in Columbia, Maryland. Do you live near Reagan National Airport? I live about 1 hour and 15 minutes from there.

Bad Company 10-30-2003 07:44 PM

No, Richmond Intl. Airport.....About 3 hours away I guess, but it's like me to pick up and take off on a long ride somewhere just for the heck of it.

Close...from where I live to Richmond International Airport it is 157.62 miles or 2 hours and 41 minutes of driving time. So I guess you were accurate. I used MAPQUEST.:p

Bad Company 10-30-2003 07:58 PM

Hmmm.....157 miles @ 80mph.....more like 1:55 or something. LOL

Portland (actually Beaverton) Oregon.
Vancouver Xmodder, you know of any tracks around here?
There was a micro track in Milwaukie, OR. His website is www.microrcracing.com. I've been to that track a couple of times and it was okay. But recently, the last few times I've gone to the store during the hours listed on his website, nobody was there. Hopefully somebody in the Portland/Vancouver area will pick up on the micro scene.

dragon4450 10-31-2003 12:57 AM
