Specialized
Would this bike be a nice bet to get? I like that it is equipped with mostly Shimano parts and hydraulic disk brakes!

if you've got $2390 burning a hole in your pocket, id say go for it:p
Actually my local Bikesport has it for $2199.99
Man, y is it so expensive, im not a bike person,so tell me y its so much:confused:
Hydraulic disk brakes, full suspension, tunable suspension. Awesome!
That's a really good bike, but I wouldn't spend that much money on sump'n with 2 wheels unless there was an engine of some sort on it.
I've got an old Huffy Thunder Ridge and that's fine for me (although that dosn't even BEGIN to compare with that Enduros features) |
Specialized bikes are good bikes, I have two of 'em, a Stumpjumper and a FSR Pro. If you are an avid mountain biker, they are well worth the money. I wouldn't reccomend buying that bike if all you are going to do is jump curbs though.
OK, is it mountain or BMX bike, cause that bike i would never buy
Actually I enjoy mountain biking alot but it kinda sucks with a $110 department store bike. Thanks for the replies!
Yea i would never spend more than $300 on a bike. $2000 is just WAY too much money for a bike (in my opinion).
Personally im a hard tail person. I have a specialized though and it is awsome. I suppose if you're really into like doing jumps and stuff, go ahead with the full suspension. Lots of my friends say that norco has the best full suspension bikes, but I am not really educated on the subject.
I actually have the best of both worlds, the Stumpjumper is a hard tail (front susp.),and the FSR is the downhill full suspension (set up just like a motocross swing arm and mono shock).
I paid about $1700-1800 each, and probably have another $1500 invested in upgrades on each. The funny thing is they just sit in the shed now, ever since that little micro RC car came along. |
I just picked up a X-Large Specialized Hardrock Sport. It is in my other thread Mountain Biking so go there to read about it!:)

Every time i turn around you're posting up things that I also have. It's like we're I don't know, but something...lol I had a Stumpjumper, and a Rockhopper.... Both hard tails, but parted with them when I moved countries.. Both with Shimano XTR everything.. (just about) silla |
I'd go and buy a used Sprinter AE86 Tureno for the same price
What? $330? what are you talking about?
Hi I got a new MTB three days ago (2/22/04)
It is the Specialized Hardrock Sport. http://www.specialized.com/SBCBkMod...3wvq23ak.j27005 It is in the color Dream. I have installed a Bell Cycle computer and it is up and running! I am very happy today! I plan on doing my first MTB ride along the Schuylkill river on a M<ountain bike trail. Then in Valley Forge on a Semi MTB trail. Eventually when my parents agree in French Creek State Park on Real MTB Trails! BTW Buy from Bikesport in Trappe, PA beacuse they give you free service for life! www.bikesportbikes.com |
I meant the $2200 bike, the one you have the link to.
I have a link to two bikes! The second one is the one I got!
I am pissed! My bikeshop sold me a bike that the rear wheel wobbles so bad it shakes the bike so violently it is like sitting with the eat shoved up my ass! I will continue bad mouthing them until they fix it!         It has slowly gotten worse by the way.
That sucks!
They have free service so it doesn't suck too much. It is annoying not being able to ride until it is fixed and so close to the weekend too!
Yippee! Once I got there they fixed it in about 2 minutes! Just in time for the rain this weekend... That sucks but I am happy because I can ride it again!
Cool! I just got back from an 8 mile mountain biking trip! It was awesome! It is off of Betzwood state park. It is across from Valley Forge park. It is a little known trail that is very good. I even saw some of the local racer out there practicing!:) :) :) :D :D :D
