CHECK IT OUT: My Custom Exhaust!

1 Attachment(s)
I got bored tonight and decided to make a custom exhaust tip w/ some stuff I had laying around...It's just a prototype but I think it turned out wicked awesome for some junk parts. Tell me what you think.

dragon4450 10-22-2003 11:59 PM

dude i could fit my head in that thing.

SKYLINE KING 10-23-2003 12:01 AM

viperkilla 10-23-2003 02:57 PM

The muffler is alittle too big. What material is it made of?

ridealot100 10-23-2003 05:03 PM

that is way to big it looks awful. it would look a whole lot better if it was smaller. whats wrong with the one on it stock

viperkilla 10-23-2003 05:19 PM

When you drive your supra, doesnt the muffler touch the ground since it so big?

the supra dosnt come with one stock. least not the white one.

Savior*insider 10-23-2003 07:01 PM

then get the body kit, that thing looks way out of proportion.

not every one has access to them or the money for them.

Savior*insider 10-23-2003 09:19 PM

they arent expensive and yes everyone does have access to them. ebay, radioshack.com, 7000 RS locations...

_revhards13 10-23-2003 10:09 PM

they. are. not. for. sale. jackass

actually they are..., you can order it from a local RS and have it sent to your house.

Thanks for all the replies...as for what it's made of, it is the insulator part from a 12 guage crimp-on wire connector and painted silver w/ one of those new silver sharpie markers. Here's a pic.

well i just checked out ebay and radioshack.com and nothing. also my 5 local rs do not have them, and if it came down to it i would rather buy some actual performance mods for it rather then a body kit. a body kit wont get you across the finish line faster.

duey

thank you for that bit of info but my rs said that they couldnt order them right now so eather they are full of it or it just wasnt available at the time. i would like to think the later cos the people at my rs are rather smart witch is suprising from what i have had to deal with in the past.

Savior*insider 10-24-2003 05:03 PM

a giant out of proportion exhaust pipe wont get u across the finish line faster either. wtf u talkin about u cant find it in radioshack.com? i was just there and they had everything.

miniDRIFTER 10-24-2003 05:22 PM

 and an oversized crimp is a HOME MADE mod.. he didnt spend 10 bux on that like he would have on a body kit... looks dont get you around faster... :bdrop:

besides, i think it looks pretty cool for being a cheap home made mod.. i made a mock intercooler for my gas r/c car like this.. http://slidecentral.rs-scooby.com/RC...r34GTRwall.jpg <<~~ mine is a yellow NSX thats not my car... thats spoolin's car.. hes the pro at that he makes exhausts out of batteries like this.. http://slidecentral.rs-scooby.com/RC...wallpaper2.jpg and roll bars out of straws.. hope u like it.. free mods.. not 10 dollar body kits.. :D

Silent_NightR34 10-24-2003 06:20 PM

yeah spoolin is like the best drifter electric out there!! too bad he quit r/c's:( ...he was so helpful and i really wanted him to post the carbon fiber spoiler mod too! well you can check out his site at www.rcd.zip.to..he has the tut on how to do the intercooler and muffler...i think some more too...

SKYLINE KING 10-24-2003 07:28 PM

THAT LINK DOES NOT WORK, DO YOU HAVE ANOTHER ONE?

Silent_NightR34 10-24-2003 07:32 PM

www.rcd.zip.to
sorry i had the periods in there..

Savior*insider 10-25-2003 03:01 PM

srry radioshack.com doesnt have body kits yet... i assumed they did because they had everything else.

btw, mini. the difference between this mod and the ones that you show is that those ones look good.

dragon4450 10-25-2003 08:19 PM

godsmistake

i think it would look better if maybe you used a smaller wire guage.

viperkilla 10-25-2003 08:49 PM

Holy crap! miniDRIFTER that skyline is sweet! How'd you paint it? The paint looks so nice and even. I'd have to say that is one of the best xmods I have seen.

Savior*insider 10-25-2003 10:16 PM

thats not an xmod

lmao...thats spoolins...and its a 1/10th electric hpi pro2 harri edition chassis under both of those bodies..lol....too bad he quit r/c's tho:(...(he was like every r/c drifter's role model:rolleyes: ) you can find the r34 at like any 1/10th hobby shop but the r32....that body is soooooo rare... i would pay like 100 for that body clear....:)

miniDRIFTER 10-26-2003 09:55 PM

 thats n ot mine, lol i said it was spoolin's hes the man when it comes to that.. my local radio shack has body kits for the skyline and the supra

godsmistake 10-28-2003 03:35 PM

Hey, thanx "badsupra1239" it's people like you that and their comments that inspire me to make out of proportion exhaust tips and the like. I'm just trying to have a little fun w/ my car and be a little original. Let's see a pic of your car...you proly just have the "off the shelf" body kit that everybody else has. Gotta go for now...I'm designing an even bigger tip for ya. Post pics later...

godsmistake 10-28-2003 04:40 PM

Just for you badsupra1239:

What do ya think of this! lol

viperkilla 10-28-2003 05:58 PM

WOW! That muffler is big. Is that a pencil grip?

godsmistake 10-28-2003 07:13 PM

It's the insulator part of an RCA plug...isn't is rediculous!

HotCar 10-29-2003 01:50 PM

i think that that exaust is too big but that is just my opinion. I think that it is a great idea, a matter a factly i took the idea for mine, but i scaled it down just a bit. i want too know how u attached it to the car, that is the only thing i cant figure out.

miniDRIFTER 11-02-2003 03:16 AM

lol the oversized exhaust doesnt look THAT bad.. it looks like a toy.. leave it on.. :D
