That is coolest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. That guy must've had a lot of time on his hands. You have to admit that would be so awesome to do.

that was wicked, i sooo wanna do that now, except i'm gonna make the car have a top speed of like 200 mph, that would be so good, then i can street race, and the cops will catch the car, and theres no driver....

That video was great and the background music was perfect.

To my suprise I recieved my November 2003 R/C Car magazine and on pages 126- 129 they have pics and a writup on those "Crazy Desert People". The article says that the Toyota cost them $200 at a junkyard. They have a site at http://www.dezertpeople.com

I wish they had taken the hood off though. It kept poping up and blocking the camera on the big jumps.

Juckyard wars did this with 2 cars. They attached javelins, shields, and such and held a 1-on-1 demo derby. One of throttles got stuck and almost ran over some of the film crew:p

This would be a great practical joke: Drive it to a drive-through, order, then drive the car w/o you in it up to the register, with a wireless amp, have the money hanging out the window, and scare the hell out of the drive through person!

think if all the controls weighed less and you did this in a race car, roadcourse car and autocross, you would loose driver weight, 140-180 lbs., the seat or seats all the dash crap, etc.

Probably a good 200-300 lbs. or more maybe, even over racing components and save alot on high dollar CF compnenets. Not bad.:D

No worries either without a driver, could push it harder and if it flips and burns, well no one would die.:D

Of course takes all the fun out of driving the car, the real fun part of racing, RC is cool but when you get to race a car for real.............well that cannot be explained for most of us.:D :)

That would be really fricken hard to drive! You would have to drive it from a press box or something!
