My bro went to radio shack to see if they had any news on them and they will call when they come in. He said they will probably be in on monday! I hope they are still there in the afternoon because I have school to go to on Monday! I wish it had a mini rotary! Actually 240Z Mania and I have made progress on it!:) :D :) :D :cool: :eek:

Yes Namuna is right they are slated for September release. So far you may be able to get the Camaro and Firebird Zips but they are not SE's they are pain Zips.

Well, to add insult to injury...I'm now hearing that the SE's are gonna be delayed (so now it'll MAYBE be out the end of September)

I have checked with the RS 1-800 number with the item numbers I have for the new Zips and the SE's. They told me that the SE's will be in stock Sept. 14th. for a price of $24.99.

To go along with Ahh5hit, I've been calling the 800 # through the weekend and the response that I got from them is that everything was backordered. They told me that the SEs should have been available to them as of the middle of August. I'm going to keep after them though.

1 speed/no boost?
 

Does that mean that there will not be a boost button on these cars? Was I hoping for too much with the prop steering AND two speeds?

what are the part numbers for the se zipzaps?

No need, Boost is only supposed to be a cheap way to mock somewhat proportional acceleration (unboosted-1/2 speed boosted-full speed). Since I'm pretty sure they have digital proportional acceleration (as well as steering), there is really no need for a boost button.

i could care less about a damn boost button, one less button to press when mobbin arround. no real need imo, i dont race so for all you racers please dont take that the wrong way.

I seriously doubt that it will be the new SEs. They haven't even hit the store computers yet and aren't shown online.

From everything that I've heard, it'll be the new original zz starter kits that will be made available this week. But if you are the lucky one, make sure to post that pic!:D
