I just picked up an Escalade Ext and boat combo at Sam's Club for only $16! The car is dual celled stock, has a die-cast body, and can actually pull the trailer! The boat has two motors and runs awesome in my bathtub. If I were you, I'd run over to Sam's and grab this great deal! They also had an H2 SUT and a boat for the same price. Check them out!

Here are the internals of the Escalade.

BabyKiller 06-04-2003 09:06 PM

i would but my 6mounth old sams will never get it

BabyKiller 06-04-2003 09:07 PM

i actually just got home from there

dabigpig 06-04-2003 10:01 PM

they have them w/o the boats at wallmart well my walmart anyways only has them in the single pacages of the h2's and the escalades ect... but no boats:mad:

Lord_Nick_D 06-04-2003 10:19 PM

same
how do they run how fast are they and can you change bodies

stampede720 06-04-2003 10:44 PM

Its funny i was there today too. I dont think my sams has them either. How are the runtimes and charge times on the boat? Does the die cast body slow the cars down very badly?

ugh 06-04-2003 10:45 PM

The bodies only come off if you unscrew it from the chassis, but I assume the bodies are interchangeable if the chassis are all the same. It is quite quick, faster than a 2.2, but not as fast as a 2.8. The boat is AWESOME, I'm driving it more than my Escalade.

EDIT- The charge times are around 45 seconds, and the run times are pretty long, longer than Microsizers. The die-cast body does slow it down a bit, but not too badly.

stampede720 06-05-2003 01:01 PM

Thanks. I may order one of those sometime in the future.

Lord_Nick_D 06-05-2003 08:20 PM

I wonder if you could take out the motor and hardwire in a perfection 3.8 or something with lots of torque but good speed also

would you say that hotwheels bodies would fit the chassis or zipzaps

BabyKiller 06-05-2003 08:28 PM

:D put 4 cells in the boat and some 4.2's :D :D :D :D

dabigpig 06-05-2003 08:28 PM

i'm thinkin that zipzaps might work haven't tryed tho. does anyone know what kind of batts are in these?

viperkilla 06-05-2003 08:34 PM

hey ugh do you know if costco has it...i mean its the same company....and i go there often

Lord_Nick_D 06-06-2003 05:30 PM

I know walmart has these
too

Modjo 06-07-2003 02:35 AM

how does the car handle?

dabigpig 06-07-2003 02:42 AM

about the same as bits perhaps a little biger turning radius because it's alot of weight on the wheels for the magnets to move around quickly.

starion_999 06-08-2003 12:10 AM

Hey Ugh...
No SAMs around here if you can pick up another I'll send you 2 Thunder Chargers (chrome Nakamichi style rims and internal antennas) and an Rc Rat w/ black rims -all are new in the original packages. I really like the combo and it is something different to add to my collection. You can email me at the address in my profile if interested. thanks.

ugh 06-08-2003 12:45 AM

I really REALLY like your offer (I want some Thunder Charger clones and their aren't any at my Big Lots) starion_999, But I cannot get one until Monday, and I don't know if Sam's has any left. I don't have any money currently, and I don't think my mom would buy a set for me. I would really have to talk my mom into doing it. Also, do you want the H2 or Escalade and at what frequencies?

rcrxx 06-08-2003 03:53 AM

I found just the trucks and a couple of stock cars for 9.99 usd at the local eletronics booteek( to tired to spell right).:D

starion_999 06-08-2003 11:56 PM

Not a problem. If you can... cool. If not... cool. If it works out that you can do this then I'ld say I'm more of a H1 guy, but don't care either way if they only had one. I assume the freq's are in 49 & 27Mhz? Not real important, but 49 is favored a little more.

dabigpig 06-09-2003 12:00 AM

just finished my H2
there is 6 underglow lights powered by 3 1.5v button cells = 4.5V
custom exhaust tip
custom led in exhaust tip (never been done to my knowlege)
everything fits inside my diecast body (after lotsa swearing and cursing)
so 7 led's total on off switch under car for led's (not backwindow type)
well heres da picz

stampede720 06-09-2003 07:17 PM

That is a sweet rig youve got there. It already has that lowering effect because of the chassis style. I like the exhaust too.

dabigpig 06-09-2003 07:27 PM

thanks man

Namuna 06-09-2003 09:21 PM

Well, my local Costco (in NY) didn't have any...Cars nor boats.

red2cwm 07-01-2003 11:53 PM

UGH, or anybody else, Does your Wal Mart or Sam's Club have any still, and are you close to Alabama? I'm looking for the boat, but I'll buy the set too.
