hey ur getting the same cars as i am for xmas

eman1 12-16-2002 04:34 PM

which ones are you getting, the auto modellista and the nissan fairlady?

aero 12-16-2002 05:26 PM

the skyline special edition is a one speed. put a faster motor in it and it will be real quick.

the thing is 2 speed cars unboosted are slower than dirt. boosted, they are fast as all $%^&........!! the booster controllers have a button on the top right.

thanks for all your help. Do you think the 2.6 will be faster than the 2.2 boosted?
I will be getting the auto modellista, 1 friend is getting the nissan fairlady
and the other friend is getting the special edition skyline with a 2.6.
also, where did you get your 150mah motor?
thanks

alright, is a boosted 2.2 faster then a single speed 2.6 with the same gearing?

hyper moose 12-16-2002 08:45 PM

hopefully the booster cars will be able to keep up with the 2.6 skyline..

eman1 12-16-2002 08:46 PM

hyper moose is the person getting the nissan fairlady

I don't know. . . . a 2.6 with a fully charged battery is a pretty fast motor.

aero 12-16-2002 09:21 PM

a 2.2 boosted is really fast though. i would say comparable to a 2.6 unboosted, maybe even a little faster. i cant say though i have a 2.2, 3.5 and 3.8 so i know nothing about a 2.6.......

eman1 12-17-2002 05:34 AM

thanks!
