once again, once again, once again, a spectacular job! The blue really goes well with the euro-lights. I gave my savanna an inital-d trueno paint job (with a sharpie:D ), it has a black hood w/ a black wing and tinted (with a sharpie:D :D ) headlights. Can you post a front view?

bad co. that car would look so sweet if u could figure out a way to put the lights back in it!

ZipRC 09-28-2003 07:41 PM

not much chance of that now that the popups are sanded away and painted over lol. but then again, i've seen custom models (1:1 scale) of that car where the popups were taken out for newstyle lights.

skklown 09-28-2003 07:51 PM

he could drill hole where those 2 skinny light are right on top of the bumper and have the lights through that. and he could drill a hole on the red circle part of the euro lights. i personally think that it would look bad *** with lights.

viperkilla 09-28-2003 07:51 PM

Or maybe bad company could make some holes in the front of the chasis and add some LEDS to it. Just a suggestion

Bad Company 09-28-2003 07:59 PM

Good ideas guys! I was thinking about making the front lights the running lights and the middle rear lights the brake. As soon I re-wire one of the light kits so that the PCB will fit in the body, I will try it.

That looks great. I didn't think the Savannah could look that good.

...and don't worry, it's not like you copied, mine is Bahama Blue, yours is Mica Blue. Two totally diferent colors. ;)

Yeah them knuckles are pain. I was afraid of destroying them so I sacrificed the wheel instead, and cut it away.

I just let it dry for 10mins or so. Then it sticks like paint.

Nice mica blue paint, I'm not a fan of altezzas but I like how you got rid of the pop ups. By the way, on the 3rd generation RX-7s, mica blue was an actual color selection near the end of it's production run (around when they stopped selling them in the states).

Bad Company 10-05-2003 02:20 PM

Yeah, the more I look at it, the less I like the lights I painted. I think I'm gonna repaint the details and maybe make the lights look more stock like.

i like the taillights i think you should keep em but drill out the holes to that the lights show thru. also the frog light delete makes the car look so much nicer

Hey bad company can you buy styrene at Michaels' Arts and Crafts?

carlisimo 10-06-2003 08:10 AM

viperkilla, my local Michael's doesn't have styrene. You want to find a hobby shop. Usually the kind with model trains.
