I still dont get how thats a choro q body still. Can you tell me how that worked so i can make one too?

09-15-2002, 01:39 PM
Namuna,
sorry for the large file. i had the image open for editing in another program when i attached it and it brought the background with it. that's the first time it's happened, i'll have to remember to close the file prior to attaching it.
i wanted to post a pic of my second transformers themed cars (jazz). this was done on a microsizers body (I have several), in my opinion, are not the quality of the japenese tomys'. the paint seems to be somewhat translucent in spots and tiny, tiny imperfections. For $7, I’ll take it though. the picture also is a little fuzzy, sorry.

Actually there are 2 types of choroQ cars, one is the most original pull toys of one-off body and chassis design; and the other one is the speed racing design, the body is made into 3 parts: front, middle and the rear. people would use the racing model to make a conversion.
Easy saying: lengthen the body and re-model it by putty.
But in fact it is a really large project

And I have my latest black spoiler & rims model.

09-15-2002, 02:00 PM
thx arch2b, i used macro in my DC.
I have another method if you want to have a close up but using cam than don't have short focal lenght: try putting a convex lens in front of the camera and put them close to the subject.....wow, u will get a nice close up.
but the drawback is little distortion.

Yes very cool idea with reflective tape...gets me thinking, I wonder if anyone has painted their body with glow in the dark paint and gotten a big black-light and had a nighttime race. Would probably look pretty cool and fun

the tape ws about two times thicker than the regular scotch tape.
