A friend of mine built this for his son's Mini Z but he got tired of it so the track is now mine. The track is about 15 inches wide and the overall size is 7' x 14'. In my opinion, this track is too narrow for the Z. So I am thinking about getting an Epoch instead. Will the Epoch run okay on this track? Or if not, I'll just sell the track and get more nitro stuff. How much would you pay for it?

Wow, that is a seriously nice track! A little small for Mini-Zs, but perfect for Epochs, what a great idea!

The smallest RC I have is a Mini X (the little Coralla in photo). I am basing on the fact that Mini X is about 1/2 an inch longer than the Z, so I would say the Z is probably still too big. The more I look at the track, the more I want to buy an Epoch. Oh well, maybe I'll just use my MX3 money for an Epoch then.
was ist los?

7Sola,
That is an AWSOME track!! Tell me, what car it that on the track in the picture? Is that your Mini-X?
I think it may be a little narrow for a Mini-Z BUT it will still be alot of fun!!!
Can you tell us total dimensions. And how wide the lane is in US or metric units.
edit: changed the word epoch to Mini-Z:D

Anyway, glad you all like it but I am a little disappointed that the Epoch is going to be too big for it. Any suggestions on what car I can try on this track?
I have no idea how long the track is. I tried to use a rope to trace it, got 72 inches on the straight and gave up.

What is the width of the lanes?
I did NOT say it was too large for the Epoch, atleast not until you can tell me the size of it. Measure a simple square the covers the whole track, not track length. This will give a good idea of the size. Don't forget track width!!!

Don't get offended Gertman but if you look right above the photo, you will find all the info you need. Anyway, here it is again:
Track lane is 15 inches wide, and the overall size is 7 feet by 14 feet.

Geezzz,
Sorry I didn't see that OPPS :D
Anyway, I think the width of the lanes are about perfect for an Epoch. I really do think it would work GREAT!! :)

What makes you say that!? 15" is plenty for an Epoch!

Because, my track width in places is 15" and my Epoch works fine. Especially in stock form 15" should be plenty. Maybe not two side by side BUT one holding a GOOD race line.:)

gertman, I was responding to 7Sola's "I am a little disappointed that the Epoch is going to be too big for it", as quoted. :)

I am just basing it on what Gertman said on the 15th. I was still hoping that I can run 2 cars on the track though.

I am VERY sorry 7Sola, I was wrong in the post on the 15th. I ment the track seemed too narrow for a Mini-Z.
AGain, I am sorry, I get names mixed up sometimes, scatter brained I guess

No problem Gertman. I always wanted an Epoch anyway, now I have a better reason to put it on top of my purchase-next-list.
