Okay, let me tell everyone what I want and dont want to do/get out of Bit whoring.....
I do want..
1) a bad@ss bit with insane speed upgrades
2) a bad@ss customized body job
3) dope mods like the antenna mod and the headlight mods! :D
I don't...
1) wanna learn a new trade just to customize my Bit...
2) wanna become a electrical engineer to figure out how to increase my range by 3 or 4 more feet...
3) pay some guy to do it for me...
So how can I achieve the top part without infringing on my "I don't" list? thats the question
Ugh, they should make a Bit Char-G for dummies book...

If you want somebody to mod your car for free, they better love you. There are plenty of people in this forum including myself that can do prof mods if you send the car to us. Take #3 and put it in list #1, now your talkin. Drop me an email...

Well, that's kinda bad. It takes work to make the ultimate Bit Char-G. It's not even really hard. You don't have to be an eletrical engineer fix and/or upgrade a Bit. All you have to know is where the wires are connected. There's good instructions at questformadness.com for cool upgrades. I'm only, like 12 and I'm doing all of that stuff. If you wand a badass frame, you can make your own bodykits and stuff to put on your main frame with certain types of putty, If you want a cool paint job, just go to a hobby store and get some paint and go for it, and if you want mad speed, there are 3.0 motors out there. If thats not fast enough then they have 3.8 motors available at questformadness.com. They even show you how to properly make a new paintjob on your Bit there so you don't mess it up or anything. If your really desperate and don't want to do stuff, the only way out of it is paying someone to do it for you, even though it's one of your, "don't want to" do things. It is impossible to get a bit like the one you were describing without dedication.
P.S. I don't think its the smartest thing to do to get the fastest motor you can find because it burns out easier, and is harder to control. I think that you have more fun with maybe a 2.2 or a 2.6. Also you flip a lot if you get a really high revolution motor.
P.P.S. There is one more solution, buy a pre badass bit. But I don't think that anyone in the world would wanna sell their bit that they worked so hard on. Just get your equipment, and try to do your own mods. Look around the forum for tips on what cool stuff to do and go to QFM too. Then, if you keep it up, you will have a badass bit.

Why don't you have a go at it youself and make it one of your projects? i'm sure you would feel great that you've completed a challange...i'm a do-it-yourself person partly because (no offence bit repairers) I don't really like other people messing with my stuff...

Well, I want a Ferrari and a Mansion with it's own Beach. But I don't want to spend alot of money.
You can want all you like, but if you ain't willing to work for it...You ain't getting it.
1) You want INSANE speed? The EASY thing is to spend the $11 and get a 3.8 motor. That's FAST but not insane. If you HAVE TO HAVE 'insane' then you NEED to learn how to solder real small things (like the multi-cell batts and wires involved)
2) You can buy nice bodies already. But if you want bad@ss custom, they you're going to NEED to learn about using ULTRA FINE brushes and painting.
3) Antenna and LED involves the same skill from #1...Soldering.

I see what everyones saying and i guess I am a little retarded when I have to do stuff myself, lol.
Well I guess If i want to achive my 1st list I gotta forgett the second list and rely on my imagination and creativity,
and whenever MTL has a really good
idea for his bit, I'll just have to borrow it for mine. :D
But just the thought of tinckering around inside my bit and controller makes my skin crawl, any little mistake will cost me big!
Same goes with the paint, i hate painting! If u screw it up, theres no fixing it, U just have to repeat whatever u did wrong so it looks intentional..... damn hs art teachers
BUT i guess if I do it, and I do it right, I'll get a real feeling of satisfaction, hmm does anyone kno a site where it explains wtf soldering is? and how you go about doing, and what tools are needed,
honestly I never even heard of the term soldering before
i looked at this sites Mod section. lol
thx for the feedback guys :D
shhhh dont mention my name outloud
:D haha
looks like u didnt take shop class in HS :D

Hey, the only way to learn and get to know your bit char-g fully is by working on it yourself or alongside someone else with more experience. www.questformadness.com has already done most of the work for you, they have done trial and error and have probably spent lots of money figuring out all of those mods. Use them as a guide and it should work out fine...

Hey racerX7,
If you have really never heard of soldering before, don't practice on your bit. Go buy a crappy radio kit from radio shack, and then build that. When you get good at it you'll have music to listen to while workin on your bit.. If you need ideas or pics, drop me an email...

yeah, i really think you should go get a useless pcb board or something, or something you can test to see if it works, and practice on it. I didnt even practice when i started, i just went on and did it. I short circuited my PSX controller, but i dont mind messing stuff up too much. I like to learn from my mistakes. Fried my batterys learnign how to do the turbo mod, but i learned a lot from that mistake. HOWEVER, i dont really suggest teh trial and error method as i did. It may get costly after a while if you dont have the right resources. But yeah, the boards here, ask questions when you need help. just you your imagination and stuff like previously said, and youll do fine.
