Does anyone know what the "Booster Machine" kit does?

you can go to HLJ, but I think it might use all 4 frequencies. maybe i am wrong, but i dont know. it is just the bit char-g and a clear skline body though.

The booster machine does not have all four channels. What it is, is just a car, no controller. The car actually has two speeds instead of the just one like the normal ones. You can tell the the difference between the the booster car and a normal by the length of the antennas on the booster car, it is huge compared to the normal car, kinda looks funny...
They only way to use the booster feature on the the booster car is to have a 4 channel multi band controller. On the controller there is like a slider switch that can controll what setting you haev the car on. You can set it so its at like a slower speed then you hit the button and you sorta get like a boost of power as if your car had NOS. You can still use the Multi-band with normal cars but you won't be able to use the boost function....

So is the non-boosted speed equal to regular speed on a regular BC-G (and the boost much faster), or is it more like a choice between slow control and regular speed?

I"m not sure but I think that the unboosted speed is actually the same as a non boost car then when you hit the boost you go faster, this of course makes you have a shorter. I think a booster machine car would be great for racing, on the tech part of the track you don't use boost then whne you get to the straight away to boost it down(away from the other raccers)...

Cool! Is the boost sustained, or is does it run out (i.e. it's just a capacitor).

I"m pretty sure on this(don't have one yet, its on its way) but someone please correct me, since its "two Speed" you can hold it 'till the battery dies.
Mini-z will you be stocking the booster machine?

That's coolio! 2 speeds (or like it). go slow around the table, and fast on the floor! Even though the thing is so small and light it probably wont break when it falls (I love going off the edge, onto carpet that is) ;)

On a related note - did you ever fix your turning problem on your bit?

I tested my booster machine.
I ran it side by side with my reg bitcharg. both with 2.2 motor and no body on them. it looks like the reg bit-ch is faster than the boomac.(booster machine) but not that much faster. maybe by 20% speed. and then once you press the boost, its over. the boomac is HELLA FAST!!!!!!! and this is only with the 2.2 motor. I can't imagine how much faster it'll be with a 3.0:eek: Its almost twice as fast as boomac not boosted. so its 60% faster than non boosted.
I'm soo happy i got my boomac :D

Tomy says that the boost adds 1.0 to your motor, so a 3.0 becomes a 4.0 etc. :D

thats nice! Hmm, I wonder how it works, for some reason I keep thinking that when you hit the boost button it opens a direct currant from the battery(which I feel is a better then the norm bitch) to the motor supplying the motor with more power. But that is just a speculation....

don't forget you need the 4 channel controller to use the boost. because the controller has a button for boost.. I call it NOS:D
