I have the tamtech porsche 962c kit. I am having a problem and I wanted to post to see if anyone had the same problem. On a full pack I can run the car just fine for about 10 mins, then the car will just kick out(shut itself off). I turn the switch off and on and its runs again for a moment and then kicks out again. There is still charge in the pack and it would probably run for several more minutes if it didnt shut itself off. Any ideas???

I have several Tamtech R/Cs and 10 mn is the average runtime then the cars just stop while steering servo still works. This behaviour is normal, just recharge :D

This "feature" is usually called "Radio Priority Circuitry", the radio gear keeps working although the voltage is too low to do much good for the motor.
Just remember... its a Feature, not a Fault!

Also the CPR units have built in heat protectors, they automaticly shut down power to the FET's momentarily to protect them. Your suppost to turn them off for 15 minutes to cool off, and then it's back to normal!:D

Make shur you change the motors often, I didn't change one out on one of my Tamtech's and eventually the motor brushes failed which shorted out the FET's, but I did run that motor along time, it was my original Tamtech, got it back in ''87''.
