Type of transmitter?

Does anyone know who made the Tamtech transmitters? Is it Futaba? Anyone know what the Tamtech CPR runs on? Like, is it AM or FM, 27Mhz or 75Mhz?

As far as I know, Tamtech transmitters were AM Futaba. The CPR was available on both 27 and 75. The short wheelbase cars were typically 75 and the long wheelbase cars were on 27 band.

And YES, it was Futaba. By the way the CPR unit is still in production. The transmitter isn't, but that's just as good, 'cause it's a STICK-radio. I've got two...

There are 2 generations of tamtech controler. The newer generation came with the 1/14 scale tamtech f-1's and it was a clone of the 2nd generation futaba magnum sport.
