Yes it works! Replaced the FETs on my M24 Mids ES-01 ESC and performance gain is fantastic. The increase in punch and speed is greater than that experienced on my Mini-Z...just my observation.

Drilled holes on a Squat BB motor can and soldered nuts inside. I'm using a Kyosho Mini-Z ball diff, bearings, and wheels. Had to hold the servo down with a brace. Didn't think double sided tape would be enough to survive the rigors of a race.

Had to make my own CF suspension plate so that the Kyosho ball diff would align properly with the chassis. This car handles like a charm! Without the FET upgrade it kept up and even outran turbo equipped Mini-Zs with better motors.

Donut, thanks for the update on this project! Amazing stuff - I was curious about FET stacking on the ES-01, that is so cool that it works, what is the stock FET in that ESC? I was wondering what was up with the servo when I looked at the first pic, thanks for the explanation! Great idea about soldering the nuts inside the Squat can! So, at the track do people know you are running a MID, or do you just surprise them with superior handling and then everyone wants to know what's under that shell? Keep us updated on this project and on your results with this car!
