Does anyone else's DRR shake violently after putting on foam tires (for DTM)? Mine will rattles so much I think it's actually hopping up and down. It probably has to do with the foams not being trued, because it doesn't happen when I run the stock tires (rubber). So do you guys true your foams or is there another fix?

that's normal. even DTM SP's do that with foams. Too much grip.

I have ABC DTM-SP foam tires on my DRR and it only shakes when I turn sharp while going fast. Sometimes it'll shake after I smack a wall going fast and won't stop until the DRR fully stops.

try rebuilding your diff. with the amount of grip foams provide, the diff can cause you to veer one way or the other on acceleration.

Hello DTMracer,

I end up rebuilding my differential weekly (sometimes more than that). It does pull to the side.. if I floor the throttle it still spins out a little even on low pile carpet with the foams. I am missing a few of the balls for the thrust bearing :( does anyone know where I can buy just the balls without buying a whole new 3 x 8 Thrust bearing package?

i assume your car is fully ballraced and that the foams are glued on?

if you dont glue the tyres they can expand and cause the wheel to oscillate.
