I got my Bit Char-g yesterday and it was awesome, it worked great once I had it all put together then later that night it wouldn't steer straight anymore and the trim was too minute to help any so I had to open it up and fix it. I ended up losing the spring and making a makshift one out of some stiff wire I found. It actually worked and it was driving really really good, better than when it was new! The next day I woke up and I drove it and its back to the old same thing again! It turns and the trim is too minute to adjust it, when I stop it has a tendency to slide to the left, backing up just makes it spin around, i just spent a hour tinkering with the damn spring and it still won't work! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!:(
Also how do I get the fuzz out of the front wheels, How come my 3.0 motor stutters a lot, it didn't do that yesterday!?

well, i had the same type of problem.... well, something similar... Open up your Bit Char-G and take out the steering arm.... on it is a really small but strong magnet..... dust it off, cuz probably some metalic parts gets stuck in there, thus affecting the steering....
OR look underneath your car and remove any metallic parts (ie. staples....) sometimes, those things get stuck there and will greatly affect the steering..... ** Remember, even the smallest piece of unwanted metal stuck to the magnet, will mess up your steering!!
BTW, if you take the magnet out to clean it, remember the way you took it out, cuz a reversed magnet = reversed steering
Hope this helps!! :)

The pring in mine is broken cause its all twisted and messed up so I made a new one but it doesn't work. What can I do and also it turns to the right and very little to the left. Can some one send me the steering return spring?

Well it's not gonna stay in a perfect line. But about the motor. Where did you get it, and I had the same problem. Return it before it is too late! ;)

Why? It came from Hong Kong anyways so it doesn't matter and I got it free!My car goes straight now but only turn right and not left. Does anyone send me a return spring?

Fl, USA Are you sure they fit? I have never seen a spring so SMALL and wirey as this bit char-g one. Also I got atip from ausmicro.com that you can get a spring out of the vhs tapes, but it was too big so I dunno waht to do?!

shoot... if u lived in Toronto i could just give u the spring... yes they do fit... or here's another tip... u can use the spring in floppy disks.. just cut off the tips and bend it the other way, and u should have a working spring....

Well sadly, the circle in the spring from the floppy disk is too big for the bit cahr-g, also it is very strong (much stronger than the stock one) and theres no was my bit char-g could move a spring that strong. Is my bitchar-g's electromagents WEAK?

hmmm.... well, every bit char-g's electromagnets are pretty weak.... hmm.... well, u could always experiement with different types of springs...... I would try plastic first.... try and bend the plastic to fit inside the Bit.... the plastic should be a weak one....

A plastic what? It has to have a little hole too so that it can stay there or else it just falls off.

well just any peice of plastic cut in the shape of the spring... it's hard to explain.....
u know what.... i'll experiment on it tonight.. i'll post pics if it's successful....
