I have been searching this forum forever. Mainly because im intrested in mini/micro r/c cars. I have a micro rs4 so you may know me from the yourmicro forum (www.yourmicro.com). I found this (http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/595300.asp) which seems consideriably cheaper. Is it worth it? It says:
Features:
1:64 Scale
Full Range 6 way control
2.2v. motor with Swap socket
Up to 5 min. running time
Up to 30' outdoor range
27 and 49 Mhz frequencies
Flashing Pod Showroom Lights
Engine Revving Sound
Includes 2 cones for mini course
Available 2.6v and 3.0v motors
Specialized tires for every terrain
Race, course and power gearboxes
for only 19.99. seems good to me, tell me what you guys think

Looks like a repackaged Bit Char-G to me. Too bad the box isnt shown, it sounds like the "Smart-Car" based on the lights and sounds. That sucks that you can't choose which body you get! But, if you can wait one day, our Shop will be up and you can get a Bit for even less.

I think you already answered it, but the 16.99 BC "bullet" cars are cheaper because you can't tweak the car bodies?

bytch_arg, not sure what you mean by tweaking the bodies? They are cheaper because they are intended for the China market, and have a different controller and not as much packaging, etc.

yep, it is worth it. it is better than the OEM bullets because they actually tok pride in making the cars you are talking about. you are referring to the z-cars by atomic toys. i got the 27mhz and it is awesome aside from making the magnet fall off in less than 1 day. well, my gf did. anyways, the chassis is clear and unlike the OEM bullets, the motors are completely interchangeable. the motor sounds are lame though through the controller, but on the car, above the plastic case for the circuit board, it has a led that lights up when you go fwd/rev. it is fast and turns very well, unlike my 2 oem bullets. it has nicer tires and different rims. it also comes with NIMH batteries like the bullet. laters b

ok, so is the chassis for the bullets and bitchargs the same? can i change the tyres on a bullet like you do with bitchargs? i want to get a bullet, cuz i dont need all those extras, but just incase i do get extras for it, i want to know if they will even fit.

it just sounds... annoying. I think Bit Char-g beats any micro r/c with an iron fist because they are so expandable and so much fun to race. there is practically no freakin limit to what you can do with these, and that thing looks like a total rip off of it. but that's just me:D
