I was looking around all these different forums. People were talking about how long motors last. Someone said that a 2.6 oly lasts like 2 weeks! Is this true? Could someone post up maybe the avg. time each motor lasts if you take care of it well? I thought that their supposed to last like a really really long time.

The only motors I've seen problems with are 3.0s. 2.2s and 2.6s are much more reliable.

ok well i have both the 2.2 and the 3.0 and from what i can tell iva had the 2.2 for about a year and it still works fine and i bought my 3.0 a month ago and its still working good

its all a game of chance. If you get a lemon, hey...thats the way it goes. My 2.6 sometimes just inches along, and sometimes goes an acceptable speed...its all very unreliable.
