Hi,
I saw this sweet supra. I was wondering if anyone knew how to cut the top off so nicely like this person did. I have a dremel. Do you just dremel it and sand it. Can someone pleas explain. Thanks!

this just makes me think..
you have the word Dremel and stuff in your sigs, you sound like a Dremel user, and yet you dont know how to take off a chunk of your roof??

my approach would be too drill a couple holes in a row, and then use the sanding discs and slice them out in a line...
its probably better to cut a square out, instead of sanding the whole thing...its alot faster that way
after that, id sand the edges, either by hand or with the dremel

Thanks for your input. About the signature it says "Aaron+Dremel=Terror for Bits" this means that when I get my hand on a dremel I always cut everytihng up and to a "hck" job. It looks very bad. I might have my dad help me. Ir my mom, she is a wood shop teacher so she should know what she is doing,I hope, lol. Thanks for your advise

btw, that supra' rear is really HIGH...
if they had lowerd it to a leveled height with the front, it would look better...
and also where did u see this pick from?
they had a good idea about replacing the original body posts, cuz after a while, the holes get worn out

Here is a picture of what I plan to do to the front. The on on the left is what I want to do, but I think instead of cutting it out I will just us a black decal. I am not brave enoigh lol. The car on the left is the car I am talking about. I got this picture from www.carmoworld.com.

In the picture above, the supra on the left has no ridges. Has anyone seen this before. I have my car all picked out and I bought my spraypaint today for the orange. What primer and color of primer do you recamend MTL. I made a huge mistake with my bit. I did not use primer and my bit is so ugly now. I look forward to hearing from you.

actually i think that hood is a custom [along with the paint job], because the racing supras dont have the TRD style vents...
he probably filled it in with putty, and sanded, and then cut the holes out...
i like the look of the grille, wonder what they used

primer is a must, or the paint wont stick to the surface...
there are a many different kinds of primer...ive used a Tamiya one, and some strange one ive never heard of...if u can find a spray can buy that, itll be very useful and alot easier/faster

I am going to search the internet and try to find out what is is. It looks like a silver hexagonal screen of some sort. Well, as soon as I find out what it is I will let you know. Thanks for the info on the hood. I think I am just going to leave the ridges in the hood.

Seeya!

I think it will protect my decals and give it a high gloss look.
