Forgive me if this is the wrong forum, however in a search I saw some discussion about them in this area. For those of you who have had them, have you had any problems with them? Alex, my hunny, bought one and started having problems with it turning left. One of the wheels was sticking. He took it apart and cleaned it etc. but the wheel would still stick. Adjusting the TRM on it did nothing. He exchanged it for another one and had the same problem, so he ended up getting a refund. Someone said somewhere that these are knock offs of the DigiQ, so could it be just a quality problem? Or perhaps both cars came out of the same bad batch? I am not familiar with any of the TinyRCs yet, just barely got mine a week ago, so I have yet to learn about the batteries, mods, frequencies etc. Just wanted to get opinons before he spends money on another car and goes through the same thing. Any input is appreciated :D

It's kind of a gray area as far as calling the iRacer a clone of the DigiQ. Takara (the makers of the DigiQ) were the first on the market to use 'tank style' steering of the DigiQ, then Nikko came out with their version.

All in all, if you can afford going with the DigiQ, then I suggest that route...While the iRacer seems like a decent car, the DigiQ just has a lot more options for it (like the upgraded LCD controller)

Thanks for the info :) I think he is gonna go for the DigiQ. I think he mentioned that one of the local speed shops here imports them (if I am thinking of the right car). I haven't taken any time to do research yet, I will probably do a little tomorrow since I am off work.

Its just a bad batch of cars. If I were him I'd go to a different store & get one. My IRacer works PERFECT.
