What type/size of battery is used in the Combat Digi-Qs?? I was thinking of looking for a upgrade battery so I just wanted to get the right info.

Also is the battery used in the Combats the same type/size as all of the other Digi-Qs?? how about Bits and Clones??

I wonder how well these tiny batterys would hold up being charged by an R/C car/truck charger like the DuraTrax IntelliPeak chargers. I know they will do 0.5A-6.5A fast charging for NiCds and NiMHs but that really doesnt matter if the tiny cells in out Digi's cant take it.

I have seen 1/3 AAA's online but not 1/4, but then again I wasnt looking for 1/4. Guess its time to press the hunt on.

found a place...but it looks like they only sell in packs of 8 or more. the 1/4 AAA NiMH's are about half way down the page. Take a look.

http://www.batterieswholesale.com/products/nimh/nickel-metal-hydride-14-aaa-150-h.htm

I have yet to try to order anything from them so who know where they wil ship.

Also the only reason I bring up the DuraTrax chargers is to maybe help ya with your batterys. Maybe, for what ever reason, your controlers are not giving the cars or tanks the full charge they really need. Running the batterys, pulled out of the viechle, on a "big" charger might help bring them back to life.

Not true - 2 cells in series is still 80mah capacity. Put them in parallel and you double the capacity but keep the voltage at 1.2V.

I have found 120mah 1/4aaa nimh but here's one for you the Bullet Bit clones have 1/4aaa 150mah nimh in them so when they go to $5.00 a piece after Christmas because their is a Million, Billion,Zillion Bit clones at every store you can think of   you will be able to have all the 1/4aaa 150mah batteries you want:D Plus you can kit bash the Bit clone receivers and motors in to MINI blimps that toss bomb at the battle field.

I took a look at the Combat insides is the battery in Tank the same size as the BIT charge? about a half inch tall?If so my source Batteries America (http://www.batteriesamerica.com/newpage3.htm) Is calling them 1/3 aaa 150mah NIMH.Then bullet battery I have has been mislabled then:mad:

Don't get caught up in the scale folks, there's NO regulation on calling the sizes a certain scale!...That means one manufacturers 1/4AAA could be another's 1/3AAA.

The IMPORTANT thing to go by is the PHYSICAL dimensions. The 1/4AAAs at Batt America has dimensions of 10mm Diameter and 14mm long...That's VERY close to the 10.5mm Diameter and ~15mm long of the 1/3AAAs in the Bits.

So the Batteries america battereys will work:D I did not think their was any batteies smaller cylinder batteries smaller than a 1/3 aaa nimh they use them a lot in the R/c slow flyers.
