I also just recieved my Rocket Racer in the mail today that I got from Horrizon Hobby for $66 shipped. I wonder what else I can get for $66

Mini-X start from 26$.

There are many Mini-X set:

Body+Bearing+Motor = 26$
RTR without TX = 90$ (bearing+5cell)
RTR + TX = 105 (bearing+2body+5cell)

Also in piece:
26$ Body
40$ Electronic
10$ 6 cell
Tot=$76

For 45$ you can get a full proportional 1/22 2WD Taiyo Radi-Book (pretty ok ... but not as good as a Mini-Z)

jerm...congrats...only bad thing about the one you won is that it has version 1 electronics and no bearings.

The electronics version 2 handles more power...better (no major thing to have to have version 2)

You need bearings! simple as that. Tiny sells them...you would have been better off buying the $95 kit from here (same thing you bought but no poopy painted body, includes all bearings, and a 5 cell battery pack not 4. so:

Kit on ebay: 66
Bearings: 22
Clear body: 6
6 cell batt: 14

Total 108
