Can't fit my static display body with my electrics. Looks like i would need to get the cpr kit from kawada. I am using a gm racing v4r esc and a mini airtronics receiver.
here's a pic of how much room i have to play with.

I used a XXL and an ES-01 and everything fits below the chassis line no higher than the top of the battery holder

That is great, thanks Akura2. Did you have to do any modifications, like shorten the wires or anything? What servo are you using?
Wow, the Novak XXL is also FM, that is perfect!!
Thanks for the tip!

Here's my M-24 with a GWS Pico, Hitec Shredder, and "flattened" ES-01. Wheelbase: 93

TinyRC... I'm usung a 110mm wheelbase and 72mm width for now..(fits the Nissan Skyline body I wanted to try)
heuerfan... all the wires are standard length... and I'm using a Cirrus micro servo (CS-26BB)... and I needed the FM because I'm using my Airtronics M8 with all my cars.. and it allows me to make an internal antenna (soon)and still get range
Donut... the "old" Kawada hop-ups work with the new car?...the spring bumper, ball diff...etc?...let me know, because I know a store that's stocked full of Kawada Tripmate hop-ups for the old car... (I need softer springs for the front too)

Yes, a lot of the old Tripmate parts are useable on the Mid-24. The packaging on the bumper (TM-35) however indicated that it was for the Mid-24 only. I could be wrong but I think the part no for the old Tripmate bumper is TM-03. The important things such as ball diff assemblies, bearings, spring antennas, special tie rods are interchangeable between the two. We've got most of the Mid-24 parts in stock and the Mid-24 specific parts are mostly the moulded plastic ones. We ran out of the TM-206 body mounting plates which gives an indication that a lot of people are mounting model bodies on these things.
The thing that interests me though is that parts list says that the wheels for both cars are not interchangeable. I like the old Tripmate style wherein the wheel/tires are held by nuts and not the outer/inner rims style of the mid. I'm worried that the wheels might pop off with the way we race here in the Philippines (crashes at the end of a 45ft straightaway). I will include a couple of TM-34 SP axle pin sets and TM-04P Plated Wheels for the old Tripmate in our next order from Kawada and find out. As for the spring sets, the part no is TM-210 but I think it is the stock set. You might want to try the springs used for the Mini-Z.
