We took a Mini GP apart to see what's inside:

It was actually really easy to take apart and put back together!

Certainly, it should be pretty easy - driving it with a 3.8 however would be a real challenge!!!

Soldering will be necessary, and you need to make sure that you use a soldering iron that is rated for no more than 15 watts. You'll have to ground the negative wire to the can of the motor, since BitChar-G motors only have one terminal. Other than that, it fits fine. I just put in a 2.6 in mine, and it drives fine.

There are screws, they are just a little hidden - recessed inside the body.

How about throwing an R-Spec in there? I'm going to try it. What the heck.
