This all sounds exciting and I know this product is not yet avaliable but how does it compare in length and width (in inches or cms) to the Epoch??

Reason I ask is cos I want the epoch but am willing to wait for this if they are roughly the same size. Small space to race and play.....

It doesn't compare with an epoch at all.

The epoch is 1/43rd scale while the sonci is supposed to be about the same size as the Mini-Z, about 1/27th scale.

The Epoch also has less hop-up parts available, while i suspect yokomo and other r/c and Mini-Z suppliers will push the yokomo as well.

Also a epcoh costs like $80-100 RTR, while i read in a yokomo ad or magazine for micro r/c's the sonic was RTR for about $150.

BTW: Both are fully proportional.

Mini-Z__
Wheel base: 3.39"-3.7" (86mm-94mm)
Length overall: ~6.5" (165mm)
Scale: 1/28 - 1/27 (everyone has a different #)
Weight: 6.24oz (177g)

Since the Sonic is rumored to fit the same bodies and many people (Micro mag and Yokomo ad) call it 1/27th scale.

If anyone wants, i'll scan the yokomo ad for you.
