I got a 6 (aa) cell rechargable back and converted it from a flat pack to a hump pack, one cell on top, then changed the plugs out so they would fit onto my 15 minute quick charger, removed all the stock battery holder stuff, and slid the battery pack into its place, used double sided tape to keep it in place, wow whhat a difference, super fast, even with the stock motor, anyone that has a stock rocket racer, this should be your first mod if your looking for speed. Ill post some pics of my car after i finish detailing it out.

uhhh no, for one i didnt have a micro rs4 battery available. and taking it exactly like i wrote it no the point wasnt to increase run time, i never had a problem with that, i wanted more speed so i added voltage, that was exactly what i was looking for, and exactly what i got, the spinning out problem is due to the additional power, so i made my slipper clutch slip a little and i dont give it full power from a start, it runs exactly like i wanted it to.

My point is that if your doing such an upgrade order the RS4 batteries and wait for them. It doesn't take that long and your run time will increase about 10x

not necessary, got my battery pack at my local hobby shop, no waiting, and it hooks directly to my 15 minute charger, works great, thx anyway
