Getting a Auldey in the mail. Questions.

Hi,
My mom is in South Korea teaching English, I got her to find me 2 of these babies and have her send them to me. I just recently got in the mini RC hobby thing, and I'm having fun with the Microsizers and ****, but I need MORE SPEED!!!!!

So my question is, are these babies very fast right outside the box? Or do you have to do some serious modding to get it to go blazing fast? I am in Canada, anyone know where I can order motors for these things in Canada?

the 2 easiest mods i think are:

extra batteries, and the no reverse mod...
the extra batteries should be placed in a battery holder, add one or 2 or more, if itll fit, then just solder the wire to the negative, and then to the positive battery end...and bam...about 15% increase in speed from stock...

the no reverse mod,...you have to find the reverse wire that goes to the pcb..which is a little tricky, and youll have to play with the controller to see if youve taken the right wire out...just add that sucker to the forward connection...and id say its pretty much about a 15% increase in speed also..
but i like having reverse...so its up to you if you want to sacrifice that option.

btw...you need soldering equipment
