The 2.6 is one of my favorite motors... The 3.0 is good too, but the 1.6 takes the cake for all around racing and torque.

But are the selling upgrade kits for the aomtics here in the states. It seems the only brand to sell the upgrades are the zip zaps which means no cheap motors above 2.6 (the kit).

tifosi_ms1: Atomic Z Cars are distributed for Atomic Toys in San Diego, Ca.
Hopefully, TinyRC will be getting all the mod kits for it.
If you live in California or Nevada, HobbyShack(People) carry all the mods... The 2.6 and 3.0 motors (come with the gears), bodies (comes with "adaptor" to fit BitCharG bodies), tires, and 100 mah NiMh batteries (comes with a decal set). The parts are all interchangable with bits with the exception of the bodies. Z Cars will accept the Bit CharG bodies with the adaptor, but the Z Car bodies will not fit on the Bits (too small).

Here's a size comparison:

Yeah see that is most of my problem I am here on the east coast and all the parts are still on the west coast. I have all the local shops that car the cars in both Atlanta and Charlotte but no local hobby shops in either location. Unless some one knows something I don't.
