I was just curious about the run time of the sc18, cause my friend has an rs4. as much as I want to have high performance, i would still like a good amount of runtime. i would be getting the brp 6-cell if i were to go with the sc18.
also, would my standard hobbico 905 quick charger (6-7 cell compatibilty) charge the battery pack without damaging it? And how long would I charge it for (the charger goes at 2.5 amps).
thanks
IM not sure about the run time as I still have not drained the battery in mine yet? I would not charge the BRP battery or any Micro battery at more than 1 amp. Your BRP shouls smoke his RS4. Do you have the optional diff?

i haven't even gotten the car yet. i just can't decide whether i want the sc18 or the rs4. I don't want to buy a new charger though. i was also wondering how well they drift compared to the rs4.

I own neither but i want to take a stab at the drifting thoughts.
The BRP is 2wd...so drifting is easy and in it's nature if there is enough power to overcome the grip.
The Rs4 is 4wd which aren't known for ease of losing traction without a ton of power or a softer surface...
just my couple of pennies.

Your run time depends on what batteries you're using and what motor, so its not possible for us to really give u an estimate..
As for the sc18, it will defintely smoke the rs4, but it being 2wd will take some time to get used to driving and you might have trouble finding someone to race against, but this again depends on how popular they are in your area.

Hey zach what BRP you are going to get?
Because BRP has introduced a new PRO chassis that wil fit 2/3A (A not AA) cells, you can fit AA as well but 2/3rds help to lower your CG.

All:
I know it depends on how fast you have it set but I have gotten close to 2hours run time with 2200mah Nimh 4 cell AA's. I have the speed set on about 1/2-3/4 normal speed. They still fly and at that speed that run about the same speed as my Micro all the way up.
