Hi I was just wondering, I read that digi Q's run on infrared, now normally that means that it will only work when there is line of sight between the controller and the car. am I right?

Doesn't this kinda suck if the car should go around a corner or under a dresser etc...

Not necessarily,

With the Special Controller range is greatly improved and so is the angle at which the car will respond. Also a BIG variable is ambient lighting conditions play a factor in range and line-of-sight.

Overall, I would say, it's someting that is very easy to get used to.

The line of sight isn't going to terribly hinder your playing with the digi-Qs. Even though they use IR, I find them superior to the other mini-racers. Such as the sad excuse for a mini-racer "Zip-Zap". But the IR is definitely something that you can adjust to easily.
