inital d project d set....please help

my girlfriend bought the inital d project d set and she bought the tire set the drift set and the gear set......she heard that it cannot use all mods.....is this true and which will and wont work..?...please respond...i cannot lose her interest in this amazing hobby.

jgilbert77, I'm not clear on what you mean, what won't work about it? The Initial D set is a regular BC-G, all of the regular hop-ups work on it.

well a friend of mine said that the chassis it comes with will not work with the lower gear sets....its comes with a 9.8.6 and we bought the set that has 3 very low gears....please help i just wanna know if it works all right...thanks

jgilbert77, was the set you bought for the BC-G or for the Bit Racer? If it's for the BC-G then you're fine.

if you have the bit char-g axles, then you will be fine. but if you have the bit racer axles, you have to cut part of the wheel part. have a lookie: questformadness.com its the first one
