Does anyone have one of these? They look pretty cool and are inexpensive yet faster than a Mini-Z stock:

those are cool, where do you get them, and how much? do they go fast?, what kind of motor?

We will be stocking them for around $90 RTR. More details to come...
I think the motor is a 130 but it is in slot car form! (open can) The car seams to be faster than a stock Z and is very easy to control with no rear suspension hop like the stock Z. We will be starting a spec class at are local shop for these.

Do you know whether the transmitter has dual rate steering control like mini-z and rocket racer transmitters? Also are the crystals changeable?
The transmitter has throttle and steering trim but no dual rate adjustment. It is smaller than the Z TX but is of a way higher quality than the Epoch TX and the crystals are interchangeable (27mhz) the Marui TX also takes only one 9V battery whitch is nice when you must replace it insted of 8 AAA.

Just by looking at them i dont see very much hope in them. The high battery mount wouldnt be very good and probly would roll the car alot. Not very smart design.
Jus my 2 cents
On a very high grip track you can traction roll the car. I see this as a good thing as I rather have to much traction than always tying to find a way to get more. But this is a fun car and should not be considered for a high performance application like the ABC DTM. This car is great to just kick back and drive and with the right batteries you can drive it for a long time! A spec class would be great racing because no hop up parts are available and at $89 bucks it's a steal!

ic ic Yeah i see how it could be fun just to have some thing to just kick around in. And if the car isnt very high performance you can have smaller tracks and the car wont flip or anything cuz its too slow

Actually, it's faster than a stock Mini-Z!
It's not slow and it handels very well. Just compare it to it's class (Mini Z, Rocket racer or any other car that takes AAA batteries) Plus the Mini Cooper and the other bodies available are classic which is way diffrent from other cars available. Like I said this is a fun car that looks like a model kit and is very reliable and inexspensive.

I know this thread and CAR (RC Club) is virtually dead..... But does anyone have some of these to sell?
I only know of one place to get these and they are still pricey.
All who may be looking can see HLJ dot com.
